My dad just found my pipe about a week ago. He works on cars for a living and he took my car to the shop for an oil change. i had my pipe hidden in the absolute best spot in my car, in the trunk there are screws that hold down the carpet and if you unscrew them you can life the carpet up and i hid it under there. Now when i say he works on cars i mean he does like engine work, he has no idea how to repair dents or broken fenders/bumpers. But when he took my car into the shop he decided to fix my bumper, i had no idea he could do this, and guess where the bumper attaches to the actual car? yup right under my $60 sherlock bubbler. i came home from work that night and he absolutley freaked out on me. he was calling me a drug addict and screaming at me, he made me brake my bubbler with a hammer and after that he took it upon himself to brake my carter III cd, GTA IV disc, sunglasses, and hemp necklaces that i had made and stashed in my car. my punishment is two weeks no driving no cell phone, then when im aloud to go out after that he said he is going to randomly drug test me and i have to pay for the drug tests. he also thought that i was going to need to go to therapy haha but i explained to him that im not addicted to it.

what was your guys' punishment? i think he is being a little harsh, but he also needs to go to like anger mangment so whatever

ps. sorry for the long story but not being able to go out, i pretty much just sit on the computer reading forums and listening to music.

That's tough as shit bro. Sounds like you're a little on the young side though, or at least living with the folks. I'd try to talk to him when he cools down, not tonight or tomorrow, maybe sometime next week. Tell him you're old enough (I'm assuming..?) to make your own *informed* decisions and that there'll be a certain point in your life where he makes absolutley ZERO of the choices for you. Make it clear that immature antics like smashing your pieces and CDs (which was a WOW for me) isn't going to change your life. Not that bud's your life, but I think you and your dad will get what I mean.

The drug testing is a little much, but if you save up between now and those next two weeks you could look into buying some synthetic urine for the tests. I'm hoping he won't be standing there in the bathroom with you holding your business in the test kit.. Stay clean for the next 4-6 weeks (yeah, it'll suck) and then any time you have to drop you'll know because you'll be buying them so get a synth kit all set up (not nearly as hard as it might sound) and fire away. Test clean for long enough and he'll probably let it go.. with steady "informing sessions" and talking to him like you're a responsible adult.

even though im 18 i dont think my dad would accept the "im old enough to make my own decision speech" he would probably say something about as long as i live in his house i follow his rules=douche bag

No, he's being completely unreasonable. My father is narrowminded, but I would have moved out right then and there if he had broken any of my stuff like that. Yeah, if you live under his roof, you live under his rules, but where is the love in any of this? I could give a point by point analysis of your situation, but I won't. first time, one of my AIM windows pops up, with me talkting to my friend about my new piece, etc.

so they talked to me about how weed is bad, and my mom took me to the headshop to see if i could return my piece ( twas unused at the time, as i had gotten it the day before) anyways they took my piece, and i was grounded for 2 weeks

2nd time, my dad had been getting copies of all my txt emailed to him (yes, they can do that) we had a big fight, got my haircut, and grounded for a month. it sucked

yep, got caught when still in high school, still get drug tested a year and a half later, i can't do shit about it because they pay for my schooling. sucks don't it? just outsmart them.
