howd you come up with the 65% sativa etc. figures?

I can tell if its hybrid, or one sided dom but im wondering how you getting exact numbers?
What do they represent then exactly? I.E. what does 65% sativa mean?

I get the %'s from my supplier... it's a reliable source that doesn't just make up numbers.

It just means 65% of it is sativa, and 35% is indica... apparently

I doubt they are precise though...

I try to use the %'s to know if a weed is gonna make me especially drowsy or not as the heavy indica's knock me out.
