funny story i think. if anyone is into reading it.

alright. so when i was 16. i started smoking really heavily... im talking EVERY day like 4 times a day.

id always smoke in my friends backyard behind his tree where his parents couldnt see us. but as time goes by we get more and more careless. Eventually. it seems like everytime we enter the house his parents are looking at us weird. at one point we came back at 2 in the morning full baked, making chocolate milk and cookies. his mom woke up and didnt say a fucking word. and all we could do was laugh. that was a big set off and she seemed pissed.

So i had to change plans. We'd smoke in his backyard but id go straight home afterward. MY parents were EXTREMELY trusting of me. so they didnt even begin to think i was high. But after about 2 months i think my mom MAY have been catching on. I'd always start talking to her and i dont think when im blazed so i just let what comes outta my mouth come out. and as time went by. she'd stop in mid conversation and just stare and laugh at me... so im guessing at some point she found out what was going on. obviously she didnt care. my dad on the other hand, would flip a shit. so he was kept out of it.

went back to smoking at my friends house... and this is where the weird shit goes down. One day. were out smoking in our normal spot. and his dad walks RIGHT up to us. theres no way to hide a 2 foot bong and an oz of dank bud. we were scared shitless and just sat there....

He sat down and asked if he could hit it up with us!!

here we thought we were fucked and his dad just wanted to smoke LOL. apparently his parents knew from the start. they just didnt say anything. now we just smoke and drink with him and everythings all good.

so if youre sketchy about your parents, play it cool. but more than likely. if u smoke everyday. theyre gonna find out. and if they do... offer them a bowl!

damn i spent a long time on this... wtf.

Short version: Long story short: Dad doesn't know. We smoke all the time.

Long version: I live with my dad and brother (no mom) and I'm the oldest son, so he trusts me a lot. He's not too perceptive, though. Being a big businessman and shit he's always thinking about business and stuff, so he never really pays attention. He's always in his head thinking of the next business move. Me and my brother regularly smoke in the bathroom or even in our rooms and he has never noticed. He's explicitly stated his disgust to anything that isn't alcohol or tobacco, but at random intervals when we're totally sober. So we know we're good.

dude. i got busted by my mom with 3.5 g's of some GDP and my new pipe i bought. She took both of them and gave me the i knew you were doin it speech and the disappointed speech. and then last night i get a phone call round 12 asking me where the pipe in her room is. and i said why did you keep my pipe anyways? And my mom recently found one of my visines and lighters that i hid, i didnt even know because she didnt ask what they where for, they where just gone when she decided to clean my room.

And one other time that really made me slap my head from there stupidity is when my friend would roll on the center console of my dads car (didnt own my own a car at the time) my friend would drop a lot of chafe in the cup holders, well lets just say there was enough bud in the cup holders for a decent size bowl pack, but yet my dad didnt see any of it.

So do any of you have any good stories or times that youd like to share

i am a lot like you in this area though my parents have not ever found anything except a lighter in the past (but i like to burn shit so they didnt think about it) but just you know -- they do know! My parents know in the same way your parents do. They probably won't confront you because they want to let you be a kid and make your own decisions no matter how bad they (think) they are. Or if they catch you in the act or find actual pot, then they will obviously confront you, haha.

But yeah, for a good 8-9 months i had my parents fooled, probably more like 12 months but now going into about 2 years of smoking, i know they know. I will still deny any accusations from family though, i hate confrontation.

I live with my aunt and uncle. Uncle is clueless. Aunt used to smoke weed and acid and takes me to my friends where she knows i get stoned. Dad is a stoner, mom is a stoner. Be jealous.

My parents had no idea, even though i would be out super late like every night of the week. I tried to be real careful cause my dad is super straight edge (only been drunk once in his life, tried one puff of weed and didnt like it), but i always figured my mom would be sort of cool, since she was the prez of her sorority back in the day.

Then i decided to try growing some in my closet just for kicks. It started real small then escalated a bit and i had probably six or seven cfls in there. So one weekend i go out of town, and i get a call from my dad saying that he found my "drug lab" and that i had to come home immediately. It was a fucking bummer, since they didnt even know i smoked, and now think im like a drug addict.

So me and my dad and mom had this big convo about weed and i discovered my mom never used it, and they both were super worried about me. Their main concern is that i'll get caught and arrested and never be able to get a job, which i cant be upset about. But it really sucks. I told them i was 19 and live most of the year in st. louis so theyre out of their jurisdiction to tell me what i can and cant do, and my dad flipped his SHIT and told me that when i get arrested, which hes sure i will, hes not going to bail me out...

I stopped for a month to prove to my mom i wasnt "addicted," and things have been relatively chill since then. I just started toking again a bit recently but will not start full force again till i go back to school.


And thats my life story.

My mom knows, she doesn't approve and hates giving me money because she thinks I might go buy some with it. I mean, she once told me she considered smoking a J like drinking a glass of wine, just don't make it a habit.

My parents are divorced, my dad doesn't know about it, and he won't approve that's for sure. Altho, when he was my age he smoked more hash and pot then anyone I have ever met. Lol

I have cool parents, usually when I'm honest, they never freak out.

That sucks man, about your dad I mean. I know my dad is probably different, but, he used to say things like that, and when he found out I smoked (when I was younger), he didn't freak out, sometimes they just try to scare us off...

nice, lol i first smoked with weed with 2 of my buddies dads, lol my dad quit blazin a couple years back cuz his lungs r pooched. but yeah my dad and mom didnt knotice really, then i got arressted with an ounce of weed at school. then they definitly knew that was when i was like 15ish (grade 9) by then i was smokin at least a couple times a day and my parents have known im pretty much stoned most of the time, but i explained its a part of my soul...

My parents knew I smoked back when I was in 11th grade probably... They just acted like they never did... My dad smoked his whole life but he just recently quit because he got a new job. My mom is probably the most free-spirited person I've ever met, I'm surprised she never smoked (She tried it a few times, and she ate mushies once haha).

But yeah my parents are cool with it now, I usually just go down in my basement and open up the back door and chill outside and blaze. I don't smoke in the house so that's probably why they don't care. My parents have never found any of my bowls before(I gave my dad a few because he likes smoking out of wood pipes for some reason, I suggested glass to him and he fell in love haha).

sorry for the double post, but that is dick to grow in your parents house without them knowing dude, if it were my kid I would be on the same page as them. They could get in trouble for what you're doing so that's definitely not cool.

Well, uhm, my mom is a total hippie and we've exchanged acid stories. She gets mad when I accidentally leave my bong and herb out in plain view, but I pay her off by giving her some of my herb. She loves that shit because it's way bomber than whatever she picks up. I have yet to smoke with her... though we always talk about it. My dad caught me back when I was like 13 and he just said "uhhh, well, I knew you'd try it, just stay safe." I'm happy with that. And he's a crazy businessman so it's funny how chill he is. I'm not sure if he's ever tried it.

Chill parents ftw.

Also, almost all of my friends' parents don't give a fuck that they smoke. I'm the biggest stoner out of us all, and their parents always call me a "fucking hippie" as a joke I love it. We can be kickin it at any family event, anyone's house, anytime and not have to worry about a damn thing.

For the longest time we always thought we were slick and that our parents were oblivious, but it turns out they just don't care.
