Is there REALLY a difference between strains?

Cool thanks man. Yea I really want to get two pure or close to pure indica and sativa strains (really hard cuz my connects suck and dont even know what they got most of the time so they call it chronic). But thanks for the help! Good info to know and finally understand!

So lets say you smoke two equally dank buds w/ equal amounts of concentrated THC crystals. I truly believe that the high itself with be fundamentally the same, and nearly all differences can be attributed to outside factors and not the plant itself. If there is a difference I think it can be compared to the miniscule differences between something like a coke and a pepsi.
