smoking and usage

I''ve been smoking for about 1 1/2 yrs. Before I started smoking, I was actually going to work. I can't go to work because I don't have my license as that I slacked off in driver's ed the whole semester. I've been getting a ride from a friend that I worked with. The job pays gay and I want to work at best buy. But what I am worried about is, a piss test for applying. And I got alot worse at computers being a stoner. And I want to work for GEEK SQUAD, because I want to help people with problems with their computers. I know I can't be a stoner and work at best buy until I get the hang of it working there, then I'll start up again. What should I do?

Sounds like you gotta stop smoking for a while man. Jobs always have to come before smoking otherwise you got your priorities mixed up.

Cannabis is not physically addictive. Just quit smoking for 30 days; Run a 3 week detox and then just sit around (dont exercise) for the 4th week and eat big.

if theyre definately goin to test ya, stop till the test. other than that, you should stop smokin anyways as you lettin life get away from you. weed is no excuse for failing anything. its your fault for lettin weed run your life. smoke responsibly or dont smoke at all.

sorry if that was harsh or anything, i slept through drivers ed, passed though, then went back to sleep

the lab that best buy contracts out isnt going to watch you take a piss. make sure its warm enough before you put it into the container they give you

there are plenty of threads on how to pass a drug test

if you cant find any other way, then its time to stop smoking for at least a while and get your shit together.

unless u can find a solution of getting around quitting smoking and feel comfortable with no way of it failing...

Responsibilities always come first. This is supposed to be a recreational drug, and recreation implies that some kind of work was done first. School, family, jobs come first. You can do this to better yourself, and you know you shouldn't have to ask here. Just do what is right, get your life and financial house in order, THEN smoke. And maybe it will take a few years to get the education or right job, but you don't want to be poor, and broke, and hating a dead end job you can't better. Olde Hippee(smoked for years, but had a job and ran a household of 5, own a home, our 2nd BTW. And no one knew except for about 4 GOOD friends. This was not high paying jobs, we struggled, but when it was tight the first thing to go was weed, 2nd was booze.) Priorities, priorities, priorities!!! Good Luck!!

well first of all best buy is shit to work for anywhere its not all glamour and glitz you know and just as well geeksquad doesn't help shit only hurt if you work for geeksquad it's your job to try to make people pay that extra 50 bucks for something they don't need, and sometimes it's you're job to break someones shit for money so i would advise against it

edit: pretty much any computer repair sucks.. oh and just work at future shop the pay is better cause you get commission
