There's a little indented area at the bottom you can hit. If you look at the bottom of it you can't miss it.

Assuming same amounts packed into a sobe bowl and a bong bowl, a sobe should get you higher, as you are hitting all the smoke in one split second, rather than for all the time it takes to hit a bong. This would result in a higher concentration of THC in ya at one time.
