Some hash questions (first time).

Ive smoked weed for like 5 years and I never really got into hash. Ive smoked it a couple of times in blunts but never had an urge to make it. Well its summer and ive got to occupy my time in a productive manner in my days off, so i decided it would be interesting to make hash. People on GC rave about it but in florida its just not a big thing.

How much bud do i need (least amount) to make hash?

Can I smoke the bud im using to make hash with after i get the crystals off? And if so does it have the same or close to the same potency as the original buds with the crystals on it?

Does it smell and taste like the bud u make it with?

1) it really depends on how much hash you want to make. id say if you wanna end up with a gram of hash, use at least 5-6 grams of buds. EDIT: also, it depends on the quality of your bud. im asuming that youre using dank.

2) uhh, no.. what method are you plannin to use to make your hash? because if youre gunna be using a method like in hashmouf's sticky, then id say your best bet would be to just toss your iso-drenched buds.. even if you let em dry out, i think thered still be a small amount of iso soaked into it. isopropyl alcolhol + flames = you wishing you still had your eyebrows. what you can do is, do a second wash (which i highly recommend). this way you know youre gettin the most hash you can outta your buds.

3) no, it wouldnt. do you know what hash is? i suggest you do some research before you start the process.. its not tricky at all, but it sounds like youre a lil confused.

4) hash has a very clean marijuana taste. no, it doesnt taste like the buds you made it with, because youre burning no actual plant matter. youre just burnin the good shit that actually gets you high.

Just a tip: save your stems.

Trim normally produces loads of hash if done correctly, and you don't have to use your precious nuggets to make hash.
