i have 3 possible ways in mind...

1st option would be to talk to the friend which i let hold on to the piece...i was being really stupid that day. he has a job, and i just have to talk to him 1 on 1 without anyone around about the subject, i feel that is best. as far as he is concerned, that piece was mine, and he owes me.

2nd option, pussy option, either save money i get from my parents, or get a job and pay it off like that. however, trying to save money my dad gives me is sorta fucking hard, cuz i need to buy food (that is if i'm not buying bud, and i do have the self-control).

3rd option, this one is shady, and it consists of me stealing from my mom's "emergency stash". first of all, my mom is a fucking asshole, i was on good terms with her (when i'm high i can just chemically connect with her and we have no problems) but then the next morning she blew it, was acting like a complete lunatic, anyway enough of her, basically, im saying that stealing from her is partially justified.

finally i would like to say to my friend that i am sorry that i have not delt with this issue in a prompt manner, im sorta waiting for the right time n shit to ask my friend cuz he just moved into a new apt. (he owns it and he's 18 and about to be a senior), and i was previously banned from their hang out cuz my mom is a narc and called the police, so now that its a new spot (in the same apt complex xD) i am welcome as long as i am oblivious to my mom.

so i've only been there yesterday, first day they moved, so the next time i'm over there i have no choice but to bring up the issue at hand...but if worst comes to worst and i can't rely on "friends" then i'll just have to come up with it in one of the possible ways.

3rd option being really quick...
btw i am in no interest to repair relations with my mother as she always finds ways to be a dick, so fuck her.

who are you? which one in the story is you? and why are you telling us about all the ways you can get money. it doesn't matter. JUST GET IT!

My friend Strawberry was loaned the piece and it was broken while under his responsibility, but I understand that accidents happen. The whole point of this post was to find which way to best pursue getting my money so that I could go get a new piece. Strawberry has apologized in person multiple times and is trying his hardest to get the money, so lets no flame, cuz it's all good. Strawberry is really responsible and I know that he's doing the right thing and if worst comes to worst he'll pay himself. In the mean time we just toke it up and everything. Thanks for everyone's advice on what to do, it's really appreciated!

the same thing happened to me this weekend we went canoeing and my friends fucking dropped my pipe in the water it was a $25 pipe but i told them to replace it would be $40 and they said ok but in your case GET $70+ from this guy (taxes, time, gas, and fucking trying to pick a piece out) you lent it to him not the other guys, its his fault for letting it get out of his hands, get the money, and let him deal with getting his money back, don't let him hassle you over it either, i would lose a friend over a piece, because friends are replaceable and you get new ones all the time. a piece is a one off piece of art. be proactive don't let a bunch of time fill in between now and when he broke it get it done quick otherwise it never will get done

fuck if I broke my friends piece I would go out buy him a new piece thats badass (even if I had to pay more than 65 for it) then I would buy an 8th and smoke it with them. seriously them not paying you back or anything is just straight fucked up. Ok now after reading his post, dude get a job! also try to get the money from the friend who really broke it, if hes a good friend he will totally pay for it as seeing that anyones pieces are special to them.
