My first bong was a Phx I got for $180. I broke the joint two weeks later. I'm just saying, it happens. Especially if it's your first.

Go in there and get the top of the line. Hell, if you need to spend over $600 to get it then get it. Your spending your money, you might as well get the best there is than buying some for cheaper and admiring the best. Why spend $300 on something that leaves you wanting something more someday. Take care of it and don't just let anybody handle it. You may even avoid telling people or certain people that you have a bong.

i know what you are saying but honestly i have no respect for anything made by Roor that is less than 5mm. I think the 3.2 and 3.5mm joints are inferior to most bongs they are just there so Roor can sell there name on something in an affordable price range. Roor is the best bong company in mind if you are willing to drop alot on either a Kustom or a 5mm or 7mm. Thats just my input on Roors. I have hit every joint size made by Roor. If you can get a german Roor 7mm. beaker then go for it, dont waste your money on the cheaper 150$ Roors

If you're just going to absolutley spend $500+ dollars, I would do it like this:

$300 bong w/ two percs, splash guard, ice catch
$200 inline ashcatch or chubbler

I have both thick and thin Roor glass and I love it all. The quality is great either way and IMO, if a bong is dropped, its fucked anyway.

I'd say buy a zip or two of some dank and get a 100 dollar bong.
