...for you guys to stop thinking in the "oh my god i have drugs on me and I'm about to smoke em" mental state? I know almost everyone who starts for the most part has it for at least for their first time.

...or what about you guys that still live with your parents, how long did it take you to stop constantly devising a way to smoke full proof and make yourself virtually smelling like a flower to cover up the scent? Basically how long did it take you to not really care that much anymore.

Kind of a weird thread but whatever. I'm bored what do you expect.

I couldn't tell you. I am going to be 29 this summer, and started smoking at 14. I remember being like that. But I couldn't tell you when I got over it.

It took me a long time to get over the holy shit marijuana is a scary drug mentality, but only because I didnt smoke much. I was really worried about my lungs and gettign caught so id smoke once or twice a month, and only buy nicks or dimebags. Then i started hanging out with my stoner girlfirend more and im pretty much an everyday toker. Took over a year though...

Smoking with the parents around used to be a job in itself. I'd have to take out the widnow screen and make sure no smoke got in. This happened until i got my vape. Now i vape one room away from the paretns with no problem. I've acquired the careless attitude, but i'd still shit my pants if anybody were to walk in.

They cant punish me, I'm too old, but im real tight with them and dont want to disappoint them.

dude i still live with my parents but i invented a fool-proof way of not getting caught. but u cant stop caring. thats when u get careless and THEN you get caught. just be cautious but not paranoid and ur golden

I used to trip out when smoking around my house, hard core, until on my 18th birthday my mom walked in on me and my friends smoking a blunt, then sat down and toked up with us! lol

She's cool as hell.

man, I still think about "dude, I've got an illegal substance in my bag" but now it's more like "man, I'm carrying an illegal substance, and none of these fuckers know it, haha. furthermore, it's bullshit that I'm breaking the law right now..."

I stopped being careful trying to hide it when I found my parents stash and told my dad I found it. that took about 3 months of figuring out sweet stash spots.
he told me to still be careful so my mom didn't catch me, but I didn't really care at that point. I knew she did it so if she punished me she would have been a hypocrite.
but when she smelled it my dad told me, so I fessed up to her.

then I would come home and find my bong missing. and I couldn't just go into my parents room and wake them up and get it back.

though, I've been pinching there stash since I found it, so I have no room to complain.
