what would happen if u dipped nugs into the oil and let it dry and repeated a lot and then smoked it.... would that make the bud more potent?

the best way to smoke hash or oil is to hotknife it and use a scrape made out of a twist tie with the plastic removed and twisted up so it has a circle at the end.

when i get bud later im gonna do method number 2...lol too bad i dont have an electric stove so ill have to evaporate it the long way..how do i tell when its all the way evaporated? and how much bud do you think i would need to fill a 1 fluid ounce container of visene eye drops? also..when the oil is finished can i just take a joint already rolled and dip it into the oil and let it dry? lol i cant roll joints so i have a roller and if i put the oil on the inside of the paper i dont think it would work too well with a roller..might stick to the side or something...anyways help me out!

as you can see I was the original poster of this oil thread in 1999, I want to
warn all who now advocate it now to stop. First I am a phd on this subject. The
marcapitans and hydrogen sulfide in the gas, and yes it is in all the cans made,
is POISON. You will get brain leasions from them and it is not safe for this
reason alone. Reason number two, over 42 folks have died from fire and explosion
using this method, it is not safe and having read the FOOL who now offers to
teach it to you, is a heartbeat away from the same fate. If you saw the pictures
of these folks who died so far, it might make you think twice about this. Lungs
burned out, bodies blown apart, houses blown up, even those who do it outside
have managed to blow themselves apart as the gas often blows up in the pipe. The
gas is heaver than air and creeps to low spots and will accumulate to blowup
later on while you think you are having a good time. I implore the admin of this
site to strike this info if you have a mind, heart and are a consious being.
PLEASE take it down from your site. It isn't worth your life or anyones. Passing
this info along might mean you killed someone by proxie. For Gods sake stop it,
it is a bad death and none here know the long range effects of this method. The
mercapitans will kill you in the long run and accumulate in your body and brain.
All using it will pay in the end for the use and karma as well. I have seen lab
reports from brain biopsies and it isn't pretty I assure you. Your lungs will
suffer as well, stick to the herb alone or you may be next. These chemicals were
not designed to be in your body. I hope you can listen to this plea and make a
consious choice to live.


Part of the intense high is from the chems in the gas that are oil soluable,
they stay in the oil, no way to remove them, think about it please, why is it so
intense? answer try smoking some hydrogen sulfide and mercapitans, you will get
the same intense feeling, its not the oil, its the chems. why not just sniff
some glue, same results.





SO I don't have a clue of what he is saying is true but if you were smoking hydrogen sulfide it would STINKKKKKKK because H2S gas is that shit rotten egg smell that is in stink bombs or osmthing like that and i don't understand where the sulfer even comes from. As far as i know alcohol doesn't have sulfer in it but w/e if the noobie poster ever comes back then we'll see...

There's a thing I found called an AeroPress that's supposed to be used to make coffee by forcing hot water through coffee grounds instead of waiting for the water to drip through by gravity. I don't drink coffee, but the Aeropress is great for making hash oil. You can put a whole bottle of alcohol through a cup of crushed bud and a coffee filter in less than a minute instead of waiting for it to drip or soak. I then pour the THC-saturated alcohol onto a glass cooking dish and then set it on a heating pad to speed up the evaporation.

Hash oil so pure it can be dispensed from a Visene bottle is a pipe dream. It's thick like peanut butter, and it is the #1 most sticky, messy, hard to clean up substance on the earth, other than maybe roofing tar.

Dont use everlcear or any other consumption alcohol for this, you want to use isopropyl alcohol, anywhere from 70% to 99% (the higher the better). And if your really interested in making it theres another forum that has thread upon thread upon thread about it, and its updated by people who have been making it for years. I won't post a link here, because GC is way better and no reason to support an inferior site, but if your deadset on making hash oil I can PM anyone the link.

yea id say use iso... ive tryed this method and i have a gas stove.. it can take more than a few hours to evap but its really good... and for the person who was wondering about having it in a joint.... what ive been doing with hash oil or even when i have a huge ball of resin is completely saturating one paper in it then putting another paper on top.. you want the sturated one on the inside the fresh one outside... set them up so you can still used the gum of the newer paper....

I don't get it. It never comes out as an oil, it comes out hard and sticky and dry. How do you drop it onto a cigarette, do you have to dissolve it in something first? More alcohol? I wanna make some stealth joints

What you can do is mix more alcohol in after it has gotten hard.. unless it's like a rock, in which case it is hash... not hash oil... in which case smoke it like you would regularly smoke hash. SO, getting back to what i was referring to previously, take a small quantity of 99.9 pct or lower isoprophyl alcohol and mix mix mix and mix some more, untill it is a thick liquid. Then if you want to make a hash paper with it coat the side with the sticky on it with the oil then stick another paper on top of that. It will give you an incredible hash paper, just let the alcohol evaporate before smoking or else it will incenerate like a match . Hope i was helpful in answering your question. Question for Weedboss:

did you ever make honey oil using butane where the oil came out tasting perfumed or like a hairspray? One batch was perfect but when I switched to cheaper butane I realized that batch smelled and tasted very strong. Do you know if this is just residual butane or is it bad altogether? I did smoke some and it gets you very stoned, but leaves gross aftertaste. Any ideas?

By the way, I have read many online tutorials on the extraction process, and you're is the best by far.
