Cooking tip: Best way to make brownies?

Hey GC. I am calling on all you experienced bakers and those of you who know your way around a kitchen to help me make the best brownies possible.

I don't want to use regs or mids or anything like that. I want to use premo, the dank. I'm going to be using Northern Lights or some other vatiety. What is the best way to go about this? Anyone here know a good guide for brownies. I know a lot of people here (especially from cali) know their edibles, so please share your wisdom!

I wouldn't spend the money on dank. The oil you make from the weed is strong enough in even regs/mids. Just my 2 cents.

I used that exact recipe and the brownies weren't potent enough for my liking. I used 8 grams of mids and cut them into 24 pieces. If i were to make them again I would use a 1/4 of good stuff or a 1/2 of mids.

I think you should go by the rule of 1 gram per person. If you want to make a sheet of 24 brownies, use 24 grams. We made a sheet of 7 brownies with 7 grams and it was great. Put a big ass scoop of ice cream on that warm brownie, roll up a j, and you're set. Best way to get high.

I've done this a bunch of times.

I think the best way to do it is a half oz of regs. Unless your regs are fucking miserable, and your dank is like 30%thc, 5 grams of dank wont be as strong as 14grams of regs.

I made brownies this weekend for maybe the 6th time. We started with a half oz of regs, but my friend poured the hot oil into a plastic measuring cup, and it melted right through onto the table. The guy we got the regs from was no longer around and we ended up getting a quarter of mids.

The previous time I made them we used half oz of regs. Those brownies were much stronger than the ones we made this weekend.

I've also tried doing it by boiling the weed with sticks of butter, and then straining, and then letting it cool off. I think cooking it in the pan with the oil is better, altho it can be easier to fuck up.

Just be sure you do not burn the weed. You want it to be brown, not black.

I used the method in that recipe -- I don't have a scale and I used some really shitty weed (I figured if I fucked up the recipe, it was no real loss since it tasted awful anyway). Anyway, I probably used about 10 grams and cut up the brownies into 9 squares. It took about 2 hours to kick in since I had just eaten. Anyway, I was pretty well baked for like 5-6 hours on just one brownie and I'm a big guy who smokes nearly every day. It was pretty amazing to say the least.
