How to make a J burn slower

I ussually use my bong, but recently iv gotten more into blunts, now i want to try J's some more, but for some reason no matter how tight i get the joint, it burns in like 4 mins. Im ussually putting in .5g in each. il post a pic later of a J i rolled

A. Don't use blunt wraps

B. When you've finished rolling the inner take a little bit of honey ( very little) in between ur fingers put a lil water on it and mix it round a bit then rub a light ( very light) coat of it on the inner leaf

Coat the outside of the paper with a tiny bit of saliva just before you're lighting the joint..it makes the paper burn much slower than normal.

Does anyone else realize he's talking about joints, and not blunts?

I do something similar with the honey. i take put it on with a little bbq brush. spread it around. let it dry for about 3 of 4 mins till its still a little wet but some of the honey dried. spread your weed carefully cause it should stick to the cigar shell. then roll it up. run a flame over it a little bit to dry it. light it up take a puff and pass it to a friend (hopefully me).

ima try your way with the water see how that works. i dont know about using my fingers to spread the honey cause then theyd be all sticky and could fuck up the wrap. but ill give it a try

if you can roll a JOINT with honey on the inside, you're fucking amazing. i highly doubt this is possible with your conventional rolling papers however. we're talking about joints here, not blunts.

unfortunately i can't figure out how to make them smoke slower either... maybe make a mini-blunt if you don't want to smoke too much on your own? i don't know i don't bother with blunts at all...

ive been a joint smoker as long as i can remember before getting into blunts, the best way to get a joint to burn slower and even is to roll it evenly and decently tight, this was you slow down the airflow which decreases the burning, but you dont want to roll it too tight so as you have to bust a lung to hit it. and down towards the roach end put a little less herb and have the paper spiral a bit to make the hole smaller. a little honey/water on the outside will also help, and ive learned from blazing in public that if you add some tobacco it will burn much much better, i put about 1/3 tobacco and 2/3 herb

I agree- poke it in your mouth and dampen slightly with your saliva. It eliminates the hot-spots that cause the j to burn down the side. If you've got 'em nice and tight and they go fast , I wonder if the weed needs a little humidor treatment?

i am no joint expert at all but DO NOT put HONEY on anything u smoke. sugar turns right to carbon when u burn it and only makes it a heavier, dirtier, harsher smoke
