smoking and usage

ive been caught smoking weed a couple of times by my parents, and they were not too happy... the reason i think my mom is against it is because of the adverse health affects, i dont think she buys so much into the whole propaganda and all that stuff. i think its more of the fact that im just inhaling smoke into my lungs, and with her being a doctor who specilizes in cancer it kinds troubles her... any suggestions?

I'm not sure what the question is.

As I'm sure you know, there are healthier alternatives to simply smoking.

Smoking through a water pipe filters the smoke and cools it.

To go even further, vaporizers (You can get very good ones for $150-250) or cooking (tea, brownies, etc. etc.) eliminate those negatives entirely.

Get a Vape? Those are supposed to have less effect on your lungs health wise.
Or maybe just cook and eat herb opposed to smoking it, thats the deal a lot of my friends have made with thier semi-anti-smoking parents.

Hah damn those two posts popped up before mine. Um really she is right so unless you want to like lie? Then again you said she was a doctor, so she probably won't buy it. Just let her know it's somthing you like to do/ expirement with?

Show her the studies that saw there's no link between cancer and marijuana use, and that THC can actually fight tumours in rats.

It might not cause cancer but it can affect your lungs. Think about it, you are bringing smoke into your lungs, all logical thinking points to this is bad for you. Pulling smoke into your lungs can cause things like shortness of breath, trouble breathing, uncontrollable coughing fits, less stamina while exercising, etc , etc. A vaporizer or edibles are the healthiest ways to consume weed hands down.
