piece cleaning

so my bro told me about this guy he smoked with that had some 6-7 bongs, and he cleans them all EVERY night. doesn't even use all of them every day, but cleans em anyways.

So then my bro said he was inspired then, after hanging out with this friend, to go home and clean his pieces. We started to talk about it and then I decided I would too.

One of my pieces, the one I tried already, is just a simple spoon. Kinda large for a spoon, but nothing special to it. I have had it for about a year now, and its been smoked quite a bit. So I do the cleaning method..got a ziploc bag, put some rubbing alcohol in there and then put my piece in there. Then put some salt in. Then I shook the living shit out of the bag. Then I did the whole thing over again.

It got a LOT out but there is still a shitload in there..is it just never coming off after this much time?

they sell cleaning solutions if it doesn't come off, but try soaking it in for a few minutes in the rubbing alcohol then shake it around. It's always worked, it just takes sum patience.

For my spoons, I do that (usually with Formula 420) and then run it under hot water for a while. I use a bent paper clip to loosen the stuff on the walls and then flush it out with the hot water. This method works very well.

I second the forumla 420 idea. only shit ill trust near the roor. but if its just pipes and spoons and such you should be able to boil them. ****PARENT ALERT***** this makes the house reek, as well as the pan it was used for

I read somewhere on this site about a product called 'Grunge Off' that's supposedly some sort of magic. I'd try that, so we can get another opinion on how it works.
