medical marijuana

i have been reading a lot of posts on here where people are asking ?'s about MMJ. I am in the bay area for the summer and i feel like i could definitely benefit from using MMJ. I have problems with anxiety usually dealing behaviors that would be described as obsessive compulsive. i am 20 yrs old and have never been formally diagnosed with any of these diseases. However, I do have immediate family members that deal with anxiety problems and I have been told that these kinds of things can run in the family. I hate taking pills and would never want my life to be dictated by a pill. marijuana is different tho and i feel like it is def the route for me.

I was wondering that because i am not a permanent resident in CA, will this make it difficult for me to obtain a card. Also, it will be difficult for me to obtain my medical records due to my parents not at all being cool with this decision. Do you absolutely need records??? if you do does anyone if it is easy to get these records w/o making a lot of fuss i.e. parents finding out somehow.

You need to be a living resident in CA to obtain one. If you're visiting, sorry, but not happening.
It's all confidential, so you're parents don't need to know. You can call up your doc and tell him you want the records. He shouldn't question you to the point where he finds out what you need it for. They are YOUR records.
Try to post this in the section for medical marijuana next time.
