1. Once Green Dragon is prepared. Where should it be stored for best preservation?

2. How long will Green Dragon last once stored?

Alcohol never goes bad, and in some cases gets better with age so theres no problem there. THC however does go bad with air and sunlight. So the best place to store it is somewhere dark. But if ur ganna store it u might as keep the bud or stems in it and let it sit in there for longer to get more THC to leatch into the alcohol.

As for how long it will last, Id have to say pretty long as long as u keep it out of sunlight and in an airtight container (not only would air kill the THC but the alcohol would evaporate too).

try to get an amber glass bottle. it should protect the thc from sunlight.

Please do not drink it until it has sat in the bottle for 3 months at a minimum. Personally, I leave it for 6 months, sometimes a year, and there are definitely benefits to doing so.

Way back when I first tried it, I had made some with golden grain and a quarter ounce of dank. After 2 months it wasn't really doing anything. After three months I got a mild buzz, still not much. I let it sit for a year, and practically forgot about it. I'd wave it around at parties and it looked funny but nobody would man up to it. Then one day, after a year, a buddy put some in a drink for me and didn't tell me. It was a small amount because I couldn't taste it, and within 10 minutes I was stoned out of my mind without having smoked. Then we realized that TIME is the key to releasing the dragon. We tried it again the next day, and it took one half shot each to get three grown men high for 6 hours (it was new years). I didn't drink or smoke anything else and I was wasted. Now I know the secret.

I also do not recommend heating it, as this batch had been heated using the double boil method two times and still didn't have the results. Time is all there is, in my opinion.

IMO a year is too much. I have waited for 2 weeks and have achieved the same results as waiting for a year (as previously stated in Darth Vapor)

1 bottle high proof liquor + 1/8 of KB + 2 weeks in a dark closet = same effect as waiting for a year

1. Would there be a big difference in the final results of Green Dragon if I use an alcohol with a concentration of 70% alcohol instead of using one with concentrations of 95% (eg. Everclear)???

2. Also, if I use less alcohol in the formula, will I end up getting a more potent Green Dragon???

I've only made it with 151, & it's worked very well. From what I've read, 190 can only be better. How big a difference, I don't know. I hope to find out someday.

You want to use plenty of solvent (in this case ethanol) to extract the goodies, & then reduce the solution to the potency desired. My method is 1/8 bud, ground & decarboxylated, simmered in 3 oz 151 everclear for 20 minutes, strain, press, simmer in another oz of 151 for 10 minutes, strain, press, combine the two extractions, end up with ~2 oz Green Dragon.

Also mix it up once in a while, like move the bottle around to get the alcohol inside moving a little bit.

I'm not sure if shaking it is a good idea or not, I don't know if it breaks any necessary fragile chemical bonds or anything I don't understand like that.

They should feature Marijuana on Good Eats (Food Network). That Alton Brown dude goes really in depth with the science of each ingredient, and I can only imagine the shit he could whip up. Yes, I'm faded right now.

Shaking it helps things desolve. Ever try to make some lemonade with the mix, same thing. Except this time its with alcohol instead of water and keif particles instead of mix. When i made it i shoke it up usually once a day and it worked fine

i heated everclear mixed with bud/stems in a hot water bath, on low heat, for about an hour, just letting it simmer. you can also bake the bud in the oven at 300 for like 5 minutes to jumpstart the thc release. let about half the everclear to boil off, and the remaining tincture will be your dragon!
