if its a guy you trust then you shouldn't worry too much. but its not rude to bring a scale with you. unless your buying mids or lower. with dank you gotta be precise.
but generally speaking, your dealer should weigh it in front of you. |

For some reason I would just feel like a dick if I didn't trust someone enough that I had to scale my weed right in front of them. Go right ahead if you are fine with it, but I'll stick to scaling it at home then choosing to buy or not buy from them again.

I felt the same way until it happened to me last night. Was shorted almost 4 grams on a half O. For now on I will have it weighed right in front of me with his or my scale otherwise no deal.

Most the time, no. I judge the bag infront of him, and if it's ever been light most the people I know have fixed it, or asked for less.
If it's a brand new person, I'd probably only ask to scale it if I knew it was way off.

I'll bring a scale if I don't know the guy on a personal level. Sorry, but when it comes to things like weed and dealers, I have learned not to trust people except my best friends.
One time this dealer asked why I had a scale. I said to weigh it. He said stuff like, "ahh, I'm good for it, you don't need to, blah blah". When I insisted, he asked if I was calling him a liar. I said no, I just wanted to see what it weighs. He said he already weighed it out, so I asked to see HIS scale. Told me no. Then he said, "actually, my cousin came and got it before you got here". I called bullshit, knowing at that point that he eyeballs it, or tweaks weight, and I straight up said, "I don't need this. You lost a sale." and walked out. Weed isn't worth that shit. Always bring a scale. Last edited by NeOmega : 05-16-2008 at 06:19 AM. |

This is the case 99% of the time with me too. But, if I am buying from someone that I do not know and they try to just hand me a bag, I'll weigh it before I buy it. However, I am rarely in that situation.

I don't own a scale, but even if I did I think I would leave it at home and weigh it out at home. I usually don't buy a lot at a time, so I wouldn't be too worried about getting ripped off too much. If I were to ever get ripped off it couldn't be by much, when you only buy 3.5 it's hard to get a bag that's off by anything more than .5. And even then I doubt I'd get ripped off. I would feel kind of rude throwing it on my own scale in front of the guy. If it doesn't get weighed out in front of me, then I could weigh it out after.
I don't really have a lot of connects though...so every one that I do have means that much more, don't want to get anybody pissed of thinking that I doubt their weights or anything. If I had a crazy amount of hookups it wouldn't matter as much and I'd probably weigh in front of them if I had the option. |
