the truth about resin please

so i have been reading a few different threads about smoking resin. some say its fine, others say your getting high off butane and carbon monoxide. any proof on either? one of my pipes Ive been savin the resin up and would like to know... i smoke chron only but have smoked resin a few times in the past.. i figure if it was carbon monoxide and butane the high wouldn't last as long as a thc high.. but it does, maybe truth in both?

It has a lot of THC and will get you high. It just smells and tastes disgusting...

Must say im quite the fan either way. Keeps my pieces clean since i dont mind scraping it up and smoking it

i have done it twice... but never got high from it... my case is prolly cuz the bowl i have is mad small... but yeah... ill try it with resin from my new piece i got which is bigger...hopefully ill get high, if not ill just say fuck it lol

resin will get you high if you chief enough of it and you don't mind the acrid stench and taste.

It definatly has THC, But it tastes bad, smokes very hot, smells bad, gets everywhere and stains shit. Not to mention the second class buzz and coughing you will endure.

I dont mind Resin as stated before does work nicely when your cleaning your bowl of the caked on gunk that can also get you high. I would use it as a last ditch effort to get stoned if your dry. Sprinkle kief on it and let that bitch roast away. There is a lot of smoke that comes from it and it can be pretty harsh but it does get you decently high depening on the weed you smoke that made that resin and how big you can get the resin ball to be. A good sized resin ball would last you pretty good amount of hits. Its more opinion to smoke or not to smoke it :P

Yah when your fresh out of green, resin is the way to go.

Hit all the stops, get a nice big ball of resin, sprinkle crystal, bust up some stem hahah. You're golden.

It just takes some finess getting to resin and not getting all stained. I use a jack knife to get at my bowls, clears them out very nicely. A good poking stick helps for any stems.

that's the thing, no one really likes it or would buy it, it's just a last resort to get stoned when you're dry.
