Kief?....Hash?

I've been making hash for a long time (well i thought)

These young guys are telling me that my method of extracting thc is called Kief.

Is this some kind of street slang for hash or do they not know what they are talking about?

I always thought that hash was just condensed thc crystals, no matter how it was extracted.

I use a large piece of silk screen and filter the stuff....have I been smoking Kief my whole life? Please tell me.

hash is like, compressed kief. when u filter it through a screen, its keif.

i have experimented with bubble hash also and its really the same property....pound something that has thc over somthing that will just let through what you want.

So basically if I leave the thc in powder form it's kief but if i squeeze it between my fingers its hash all of a sudden?

So im guessing that people just wanted to make a name for the powder before it gets pressed....we always use to call it monkey dust but I can deal with Kiefer Sutherland.

You can make hash from keif really easily, i made some body hash last night

keif is the powdery substance that is shaken off the bud - it's like the crystals n stuff

hash is when it's sort of squashed together and made into a bar

the actual kief is the trichromes them selves, depending on quality i consider some loose kief to be hash, it really dosent matter, but personaly i would get a pollen press and press my shit for easier storage,

it dosent really matter man, hash is just compressed kif, pressed until they bond together to make one mass

ya i actually put the kief in some glass test tubes and put a cap on it. the kief actually bonds together while in the test tube and i pick it out with a poker or something. I've made some big hash pancakes before but i actually like the way the stuff sprinkles on a bong hit more than breaking of a chunk. although i just thought when was the last time i took a nice hit off a pin and its been forever! because i have been sprinkling for years...i think its time to press a ball and get right. too bad i dont have a pollen press ill just have to use some wax paper lol
