My bong bubbles too loud XD

Ya, well I was smoking my homemade bong in my room while my parents were upstairs it was pretty awesome and never got caught but I was wondering on how I could cut down on the bubbling noise that it creates. I heard that a diffuser helps or something but I don't really know what it is, help me please

How old are you kid? I don't have a problem with people living ith their parents in their early twenties but sneaking around in you own home as an adult is just pathetic.

Well, the amount of water really affects how loud your bubbling is, the sucking, not as much.
You can suck as hard as you want & still get a deep bubble without it being loud.

all you have to do to make a diffuser, if your downstem is plastic, is about a half inch from the bottom of the tube where it goes into the water drill a whole bunch of holes all around the tube. It should cut down on the noisy bubbles.

Well, a diffuser is basically putting small holes in the downstem (the part submerged in water) to help break up the bubbles causing for a smoother hit.

Wether or not it affects the bubbling noise i have no idea.

A diffuser makes it hella silent, how it works is insted of having a hole at the bottom of the stem it has many holes or slits in the sides and a solid bottom. Think of a test tube with holes in it. This makes the smoke diffuse into smaller bubbles so that more smoke makes contact with the water (cooling it down more) these smaller bubbles are alot more stelthier in the sound department.

well to clear things up I'm 18 and still in high school, I haven't failed any grades my birthday is just before high ends jeez, anyways I'll try to find a test tube today or something similar and just turn up the TV, thanks for the help guys
