hi,
i have a physical exam in the near future (beginning of august, a good 2 weeks away). During the summer i've been smoking a good several times a week, and i also had a joint this morning.
in my phsyicals we have a piss test that is included, its not really a DRUG test but more of a piss test to monitor my livers and such (my parents carry some sort of hepatitis). basically i'm asking, when doctors check piss, do they put certain chemicals in the piss to look for certain things, or do they just stare at it through a microscope and go "hmm this looks like weed, this looks like booze, this looks like aids, etc".
i'm obvioulsy not a doctor so i dont know how they go about looking at piss, but i assume its more of a chemical reaction thing, in that case, wouldnt it mean that i could blaze and not be caught? on the other hand, if it is potentially risky, do i stop smoking from here on till the exam? and how do i start cleansing my body? do i have enough time (2 weeksa bout).

basically i'm looking for someone who knows how piss is checkked, because if they dont put the piss thorugh "the marijuana test", then i should have no problem. or do they just drop some into a machine that prints a paper that says like "chemicals in the urine: blah blha blah".

doesn't anyone know whether or not regular physical exam piss tests check for cannabis?

with those tests u can usually get away with just saying u dont have to go

I was in this jam once, and there ended up not being any problem. But I think it depends on the doctor.

i had the same thing happen to me. the doctor came in the room and did all his stuff and then he was like o.k. go and fill up this cup. i got so scared but did it anyway and they didnt say anything about drugs in my system. but i dont know maybe they just didnt care.

thanks dudes i really appreciate it, but lets say just in case,
how long would it take me (i got fast ass metabolism plus i'm skinny as a motherucker) to get rid of it?
i smoke about 3 times a week and i've been smoking for about 2 years.

If you want to stop smoking for the two weeks then just do it if your scared........In all actuality it takes 3 to 30 days for THC to get out of your system.
