I really wanted a wooden gandolf pipe but wasnt feeling like throwin the local head shop 60 bucks for one so i decided to make my own. I started with just a scrap piece of cherry and ended up with something like this...if only i knew how to post my pics..sry haha

dude, I love sherlock pipes, especially those boss wooden tobacco pipes your grandfather would own.

www.herbalcantera.net thats where I got my wooden pipe, and they're not $60, mine was $5. It had a gigantic fucking bowl. Tobacco pipes swallow nugs.
[unfortunately the chamber was small as hell so it got clogged with resin after a months use, so I went glass]

yea i want to eventualy make a nice 2 footer for summer just lay back with and pack fat ass bowls. but for now i got im working on this one its about 8 inches. let you see the finished product when this guys done.

Sounds awesome, me and my buddies a few summers back had no money for a new piece so we took some bamboo from somewhere and made a couple hot ass pipes. We made one giant one with a bowl about as wide as a half dollar, we gave em filters and names and everything. They lasted a good year or so and we had some great times with them... theres nothing like creating your own unique bowl, it makes you feel very creative and seemed to give me a better high.
