Weed and God

I guess I can't really speak for all tokers for there are hundreds of religions, so I guess this one goes to mainly you Christians out there. Do you feel weed effects your relationship with God? how so?

Weed made me realize that religion was made to try to keep everyone civil, by injecting fear into there bodies. Religion is a form of laws before the government of course.

That is my connection with weed + god. I know its not what you wanted to hear, but their it is.

If I did believe in a popular God, and it could be said that this God created all things on earth for a reason, then I would strongly believe he created Marijuana specifically to be used and consumed by humans and animals alike.

MJ helps me focus my spirituality inwards, as opposed to outwards. I believe that if there is a conceptual god, he is withing each of us, not up in the sky. I don't think you need to believe in a definable "god" to understand and benefit from this though.
I guess I can say weed has to do with me thinking this way.

prob couldn't agree with this much more, only i wouldnt say weed made me realize it would say going to college is what made me realize it more than anything, although i was never a big religious person to begin with.

eh never really was one... went atheist by 17 didnt smoke til i was 18

I feel closer to a lot when I'm high, it doesn't really effect my feelings towards God though because my faith is just as strong high or not.

I think it makes me feel closer to God. I guess because He made it for people to use and smoke and I smoke.

I feel really spiritual when I'm blazed, but I don't think it has anything to do with God. At least not the Christian God.

There is a difference between religion and god, religion is what a certain culture says there god will do, wont do, has done in the past and what he will do in the future.They tell you how to appease him and how to live your life for him but just because religion is telling you what god is does not mean there is not a god though. God may have created everything, he may not have. Its a logical paradox, what came first, the universe or god? Well if the universe was here first, what created it? Well if god was here first, what created him or her? To the OP, smoking weed doesn't bring me closer to god, because I have never felt a connection to any god for that matter, which is probably why I'm agnostic.

alot of people say that weed was made by god therefore it is good. However that can be argued as well, god put poison ivy on the earth doesn't mean we should smoke it lol. But if you believe in god if you follow the ten commandments and don't let weed get in the way of that you should be chill

i somewhat believe in god but i honestly think most of religion and the bible is bullshit

i am about to start a book called jesus for the non religous should be good

If I believed in fairy tales, I would think "god" wouldn't care if you toked. I would get so baked and go to church.

I also agree with five to one. I was rasied catholic, but then realized that the theory of God and religion seemed outlandish to me, and if he did actually exist, it wasn't someone I would want to meet. So now, I think that everyone is their own god, and that everyone should just be, and do things for their own benefit. In the same case if I identify with any religion anymore, it would Buddhism. I started reading about it when i started smoking, and they just went hand in hand with each other. In some Buddhist monasteries in Nepal, they actually encourage smoking. It's ballin'.

You dont want to meet him because of what the church tells you god is.
If god is real and wanted to meet me, id be chill with that, id roll a nice big blunt
and smoke up with him.
