MJ helps me focus my spirituality inwards, as opposed to outwards. I believe that if there is a conceptual god, he is withing each of us, not up in the sky. I don't think you need to believe in a definable "god" to understand and benefit from this though.
I guess I can say weed has to do with me thinking this way.

Dude I feel the absolute same way. Believing in God as a being, somewhere up in the clouds seems ridiculous to me. But viewing God as a force inside of every individual person that links us together and feeling that God is the inherent goodness that every person DOES have inside them makes all the sense in the world to me. +rep nice post man.

Well I am a christian and smoke. Weed only not cigs or anything else, I think of it like this say you are adhd attention defficite hyper disorder, they give you ritalin or something and the reason so is to calm you down, now what does weed do for me it calms me down, I am going to do a little study because I am ADHD and take medicine for it, want to know how I act after not having smoked for like 2 or 3 weeks so I am clear of all THC then record the way I act taking my meds, for like a week, and report any side effects or stuff like that then use Marijuana as my meds for like a week. I am probably gonna smoke the same amount of weed as medicine in grams I take and as often as I would take pills, So sorry I got of subject but God sent Jesus to forgive us are sins, so first off I don't see in the bible it saying thou shalt not smoke the reefer, so I believe that it is ok with god as long as you repent...

i was born and raised a true roman catholic. never did anything until i rolled my first j, then after that i started to believe God loves us all to make such a beautiful plant for us to enjoy

I used to be Catholic for that was my family's traditional religion before I went agnostic.
I don't think God, if he does exist, nor Jesus, whom did exist as a philosopher, have any problems with drugs as long as they are not done in a self-destructive manner.
