ADS ripping better then RooR

i had a ADS till my mom found it, and ive smoked out of both types and I pretty sure i like my ADS better or that could just be because i was attached to it.

Big Smoker, why do you assume other brands have defects? I hear you man, Roors are definitely usually flawless, but since when are all other companies making defective products?

you are paying for the designs on those
not to mention its coming from over seas
im sure it takes a lot of extra work
dont know if you used a lot of glass but one thing i have personally noticed is that many other brands joints will be a bit loose or crooked, same with perc's
not roors though
they always seal and ive yet to see one wasnt damn near perfect
not saying it works better
just like fancy cars though
it just depends on how much money you have to blow

ya it is just a fad. Someone found it and now everyone and their mom is hoping on that bandwagon and getting one. Everyone and their mom now has one of those too..... Not to mention doesn't seem too unique. I saw someone that had bought 2 pieces that were very close in color scheme and style. and like BigSmoker said, Lux is american roor, but without the extreme durability that roor has.

I've owned both an 18 inch bubble bottom RooR and an 18 inch bubble bottom ADS. Both were 14mm joint sizes and both were ripped with a RooR diffusor and the same bowl. RooR won.

The ADS also had super thin glass at the base but the same 5mm glass on the tube as the RooR.

Thanks bro...That's why i asked what ones he was using. Not even close to similar setups.

How do you go from comparing two companies to throwing Illadelph into the mix? Illadelphs run just as high as roor, especially the ashcatchers.

I have a LUX scientific and the quality is basically the same as my friends RooR. If his perc broke like that he must of done something wrong.

not sure, i dont see how it's possible to break a perc without breaking something on the outside first unless it was just weak in general. I'll have to ask him.

I'm the one that has the RooR.
The reason why it bubbles is that I have a fairly short diffuser, thus having to fill the beaker up more than half way, making it a harder and less voluminous hit. I haven't felt an absolute necessity nor found a diffuser that is longer so.. f

ads's suck, even my pure rips better IMO.

Your bashing the site calling it sweatshop glass, and YOUVE NEVER EVEN SEEN THIER GLASS? cmon dude, thats so ridiculous. Did you see those prices I posted? I mean Id buy the Ziggy if I had an extra thousand but other then that, I guess I just cant afford quality Roor right now and im not paying top dollar for 3.2 glass. The prices range from unreasonable to unbelievable.

Ya you can get those RooRs in headshops for cheaper than what they charge on EDIT.
