24 hour flu + cannabis?

Well starting this morning at 5:30 AM (about 12 hours ago), I woke up, threw up and have felt like shit the last 12 hours. I was pissing out my ass and throwing up every hour or so... To make matters even worse, my roommates moved out today, so I'm here by myself feeling like I want to die. We're all friends here, so I'm not afraid to admit that I just lied in bed and cried for about half an hour earlier because the shakes, temperature, smell of vomit, and idea that no one else was here was too much...

Well, anyway, I haven't thrown up in several hours, I'm feeling a little better, but still like dog shit. I'm going to try smoking small amounts of my indica soon in the hopes that it will get rid of the pain and nausea. I didn't try it earlier because I knew that taking in smoke would immediately make me vomit. So is this a good idea? I assume so, cannabis (especially indica) is used medicinally, so as long as the smoke doesn't hurt me too much (using a bong for that reason) I should be feeling better. Well, in the last ten minutes, I've taken 2 small snappers, and no vomiting, so that's a plus! I'm definitely starting to feel better, I think I even have an appetite coming on.

I haven't smoked for that long (like 6 months), so this is my first real experience seeing how marijuana can can just make you feel better, regardless of the high. I definitely don't want to lie in bed and cry anymore! Truly an amazing plant.

That is upsetting. Granted, I'm pretty high right now too (having no food or liquid in your body will do that I guess) and the Simpsons is funny as hell, but more importantly, I don't ache and no nausea. And I don't think excessive happiness is a bad side effect for a drug that cures the flu.
