Unhappy Glass on glass Seizing on Mad Scientist?

Hey guys.., this is actually my first glass on glass piece with frosted ends.., I love the mad scientist cause it gives you great hits but this thing is a pain to keep from seizing the glass joints together. I can tell that the end frosted tips have been worn pretty well. ANyway the perc seized first so I couldn't get it out with the hook that comes with it. So i tried everything I could with out breaking it to get it out. And I couldn't.., lol. So I clean it pretty much every other 4 to 5 days depending on how much i use it. Well now the defuser is stuck too.., So now I'm forced to spend way to much time in front of a sink just salting and alcoholing the shit out of my glass to get it really reall clean like i have them all. I know this one has speacial needs due to the secondary perc in the middle of the thing and those holes are small as it is so i dont need them cloggin. WELL the real question is does anyone have a trick for removing glass on glass pieces like this? Is there any type of special technique or am i SOL???? if so just type SOL. lol. thanks guys.., Love and light...,

Mario

Let's see if we can tackle this question using proper terminology:

There is no such thing as a glass on glass bong. Virtually all glass bongs are glass on glass regardless of whether they use a ground glass joint or a gasket. The glass is touching the glass. The only bongs that aren't glass on glass are:
Metal on plastic, or
Metal on ceramic, or
Glass on metal

Google it.

Your glass joint is not frosted. Did you get a visit from Tony the Tiger?

Conically tapered ground glass joints. Inner (male) joint shown on the left and outer (female) joint shown on the right. Ground glass surfaces are shown with gray shading. By putting them together in the direction of the arrows, they can be joined, usually with some grease applied to the ground glass surfaces.

Lubrication and sealing

Grease is used to lubricate glass stopcocks and joints. Some laboratories fill them into syringes for easy application. Two typical examples: Left - Krytox, a fluoroether-based grease; Right - a silicone-based high vacuum grease by Dow Corning.

A rather thin layer of grease particularly made for this application can be applied to the ground glass surfaces to be connected and the inner joint is inserted into the outer joint such that the ground glass surfaces of each are next to each other to make the connection. In addition to making a leak-tight connection, the grease allows to joints to be later separated more easily. However, a potential drawback of using such grease is that if it is used on laboratory glassware for an extended period of time in high temperature applications (such as for continuous distillation), the grease may eventually cause contamination of the chemicals.

PTFE (Teflon) sleeves and PTFE sealing rings[1] are used in between joints to fit them together instead of grease. PTFE tape is another alternative that is finding widespread use.

After reading this entry from Wikipedia I'm inclined to try using a drop of olive oil. You could use WD40 or some other high-tech grease, but you might taste it if it drips into the bong.

Not trying to rip on you, but Mad scientist isn't a very good bong.

Yeah, if you run some water over the joint, you can actually see the water seep in through the ground glass part. Then just wiggle it lightly, and watch it move the water inside the joint. Keep at this for about 10 minutes, being very careful and not forceful. You'll get it off.

When people refer to Glass on Glass, They mean there are no rubber parts, Everything is glass, You cant say that about a tube with a grommet. Even if there is glass on glass contact its not considered Glass on Glass, Cause it still relies on a rubber seal.
