Didn't get high!!

Ok so this was the second time I have ever smoked marijuana. The first time it was a very little joint and I didn’t get high at all.

My friend gave me a one hitter and a gram. He said just put a tiny bit in the one hitter and that should get me high for a while. I put a tiny bit in, smoked it (I think), and nothing happened. So I put in a little more. And a little more. And I ended up using about a third to a half of the gram in it. Nothing happened, as far as I could tell.

Well sometimes it takes more than two sessions to get high. I think i took my fourth or fifth try to get high. It is possible that you aren't taking big enough hits, but you wouldn't be able to realize it. That's why i think its good to have an experienced toker with you when you try it. That way he or she can tell you whether or not you're getting big enough hits.

as for the weed toast idea...there's something very similar to that called a firecracker. there's a really good sticky on it.

Make sure you're inhaling right and bud has to be cooked with the fat to be effective. Not just mixed with it. Welcome to GC

You doing it right? Not to sound like I'm trying to make you sound like an ass, but some people don't 'breathe' in right and don't notice it. Sorta like when you smoke a cig for the first time ... you breathe in but you didn't really inhale ...

If your shoulders aren't picking up when you inhale, you're just 'sucking in.' I felt like a noob the first time I (tried) to smoke a cig, I wasn't doing anything but letting it sit in my mouth and my throat, and didn't notice it until I did it the right way (on accident.)

Only thing I can think of. Or you burned the weed way too quick and just inhaled paper smoke after that. Tiny amounts of weed you're better off with a bong/gravity bong (can be homemade if you don't wanna spend cash) anyway.

My friend warned me about the "not smoking right" thing. He told me the difference between inhaling and sucking, and I thought for sure I was doing what he told me. Sometimes when I took drags it just really felt like nothing was coming back. But I did feel that burning sensation some times.


I don't have any saltine crackers available lol. So it would be a failure if I do my toast idea?

what i told my friend to do to make sure he was doing it right is just suck it into your mouth like a cigar, then without letting any smoke out take a really big breath. a few of those and you should be fucked up.

i think the best thing for beginners to use is a bong... theres no way to NOT inhale it lol.

hit it, then take a big gulp of air sucking all the smoke way down deep into your lungs and hold that shit for like 5 seconds, then exhale.

im sorry to say it but u can fuck up on a bong. today my friend hit my bong and then coughed when he took the hit not only shooting his saliva into the bong but the bong water like shot out of the bowl where the weed was so there was bong water on my carpet and there was wet nugs just sittin there and then my friend was like. woops

yeah you gotta get that smoke into your lungs baby, thats where it gets into your blood. if your takin good hits then you should be coughing and completely killin your throat. definetly try taking a big breath after taking a hit so it sends the smoke right down to your lungs. and you'll def know it when your fucked up.

Yeah but one of the problems was I just couldn't keep the one hitter lit. I couldn't get any shit from it. Or am I just a fucking retard and you have to keep the end of the one hitter on a flame the whole time?

Did you just put a little nugget in the bowl or was the bud ground up? That could be the source of your difficulties keeping it lit. Although, if you try hard enough, there is still no reason you wouldn't get high..

yeah man it might take a couple trys my friend is starting to smoke and she smoked a bowl with me didnt get high and then the next night ate 2 of the pot cookies i baked and didnt get high either so we are gonna try again next week.
