Whats next? I want a Hakko soldering iron but I'm still not too convinced that they're worth it
If you can get a cheap one used or whatever, they are worth it

nitrogen soldering makes for much much more even soldering, as it pre-heats. If you demand that you have absolute perfect soldering joints, hakkos are great.

I picked up a complete set up with n2 generator for 100$ through some work connections, if you can get a setup for under 200$ i'd say go for it.

I don't want it to solder.
I want it to smoke with.

I think this means the size of the clip things, since the 2 are different sized. I know mine is 19/ somethin, I think its 19/22, and thats for the 18mm bigger Roor stuff.

oh and the numbers on the gong joints are as follows:

the first number is the diameter at its widest, then a slash, then the next number is the length of the joint.

It was like a heart through my chest too, I never even smoked out of it as my own. It was my buddies before, and I was cleaning it after we traded, and it slipped outta my hands into the sink.
This was just yesterday, too.
Who knows if a glass blower can fix it?

if u have the pieces that broke off, that looks lke a really easy welding job. ask around your headshops for local blowers

It just broke in 2 pieces, a clean break. It does seem like it would be easy for them to 'weld' back on.
