I hate how every govenment enforcement agency from the local 5-0 to the DEA think they are ABOVE the law, when the should realize that they are THE law.

When any law enforcement agency takes it into their own hands to do what they think is 'right' is bullshit. Your job is to enforce the law not rewrite it.

if the DEA was just enforcing the law this wouldn't be so bad, I mean at least it'd make sense.
But the DEA is also committed to keeping marijuana illegal, so it's actively involved in making the laws that it then goes on to enforce.

In my mind what we have to do is find out which part congress is responsible for the DEA, in other words who do the DEA answer to, and tell them loudly that the policies and actions of the DEA are reprehensible. The DEA has so much influence over the voting of congress that in effect the DEA is setting social policy, and the DEA doesn't have the skills, intelligence, or empathy to set policy of this sort.

We have to let those responsible for the DEA know that this organization is a repugnant scourge on society!! Fuck I hate the DEA!
