i know a few countries that have outlawed weed..well one (USA)and then some that have it legal.. amsterdam, netherlands. plz list some countries that you know their laws. like what countries have it completly legal and which ones have some restraints on it. do some countries not even give a fuck and have no law regarding marijauna? i always wanted to know if it is legal in like.. saudi arabia, china, japan, taiwan..etc

I don't think marijuana is actually legal anywhere in the world. Amsterdam is extremely lax on their laws and enforcement of them. I also heard Switzerland was either gonna go legal or deciminalize. Some place in Denmark i think called Christiania is anarchist and I think weed is allowed there. I think they have been having problems lately though. I think around Toronto marijuana has beed decriminalized for the time being. People who are caught with less than an ounce are being let go, but their case will be pending until a higher court makes a decision.

i heard weed grows wild in places like pakistan. i'm sure it grows wild in other countries that don't have the resources to destroy the wild crops and enforce laws against its possession and usage.

hmm Holand, or Howland (however u spell it) from what i know its completely legal there, in fact, i hear mostly every drug is legal there.

uhh... NO!!

it's called the Netherlands. Holland is a province of the Netherlands. Not all drugs are legal, just softs like cannabis.

In Belgium we can smoke not in public, grow 3 plants and have 5 gram on us. Only for recreational use, if they somehow figured out you're an addict or use too much they might send you to a psychiatrist or something.

In poor countries like colombia, pakistan, afghanistan, mexico there the big weed is being grown and the big drugbarons won't get much problems from the police which are corrupt...

In thailand the use of it is somewhat ignored, but if you are caught taking it into or out of the country you could be facing life in prison or worse.

California isnt a country but weed laws are very lax in california. Medical weed is completly legal. Anything thats not medical weed as long as its under a oz its just a ticket. Very very very rarely do i see people go to jail for marijuana, unless they are sellin it or growin it or somethin. But just smokin weed is pretty much ALMOST legal out here........more states are gonna follow, i heard New York is tryin to decriminlize weed this yr too, that be coo if the usa's 2 most famous states CALI and NEW YORK both had decriminlized weed, we are half way there.

the Netherlands just tolerate the use and selling in speciffic places and have tougher laws on alchol drinking in street will get you a fine. drugs in the netherlands are seen as a medical issue rather than a criminal offence.

England more cannabis smokers thans gays so why can't we have a say.

most middle eastern countries smoke alot of hash.

coppenhagen has an abandonned airfield that the hippies took over and it has a hash markert DENMARK

Germany allows anybody to have 30grms or less on them.

pretty much everywhere will catch on ENGERLAND in 2004 thanks to flunkett blunkett.

its decriminilized in canada now, which means no charges with less that 32 grams (i dont know exact # but thats close). so when busted with that amount u get a fine, which i think is worse than before cuz the po po's usually let people go when they dont have much on them. now u get a manditory fine

just to clarify marcovancleef, england aren't really "catching up"

it's a downgrade from a class B to a class C drug. far off from even decriminalisation. penalties for posession have been lowered, but penalties for supply have been upped considerably.
