Weed causes munchies and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from endless hours of playstation.

By fo'realz yo,

Weed don't kill brain cells, the act of smoking causes a slight hypoxic condition which accellerates the natural process of brain cells dying, and short term memory loss suffers because that part of the brain (the Hippocampus) becomes more active. Not-so coincidentally, the hippocampus is where most of the CB1 receptor sites are located. CB1 sites are the THC receptors which cause the high to happen, while CB2 sites located primarily along the spinal cord and in the nervous system are responsible for the pain relieving effects of MJ.

I suspect that cannibis indica and cannibis sative act on these two sites in different proportions relative to the type of cannbiniods contained un each, and is why sativa gives a head high (because it priomarily affects the CB1 sites, whereas indica may interact more readily with CB2 receptor sites.

Peace

If you are addicted and use heavily over a long period of time you will experience withdrawl symptoms including but not limited to depression (can be quite severe) and a general difficulty in regulating your emotions.

The act of smoking itself also has it's obvious negative effects. This can be avoided using vaporizers or cooking, etc. There are cleaner ways to smoke as well. Using a bong instead of rolling a joint for example. The water in the bong acts as a filter and can also cool the smoke before it enters your lungs. Next time you use one, check the water when you are done and you will see a lot of small black particles that would have otherwise gone into your lungs. I also try to remove the sticks and seeds before smoking because those do nothing but make for painful smoke.

Edit: Holy shit, sorry for resurrecting this thread. Didn't see the date...came up in "similar threads."

Re: Question, question , I got a Question.

if you are in high school or college, you shouldn't smoke every day (but of course give yourself a treat once in a while ) because it can keep you from developing critical thinking skills. If you are studying foreign language, mathematics, or engineering and you smoke every day, its probably not a very good idea.

I know somebody is going to try to call me on this, but honestly, weed is the last thing compared to a life skill
