hand carved graduation gifts

I'm graduating from high school soon, and because I'm going to a prep school the chance of seeing some of my friends in the near future is very slim, so i decided to make them gifts which are not only functional but awesome. I start thinking, "Whats more personal than a hand carved wood pipe?". With basically 28 days left, I've been carving my ass off. The sickest thing is, my completion time on a pipe has gone from roughly two days to about two and a half hours. Its a little gratifying to know that my pipes will be used all the way from Maine to California. (sorry if i rambled, i started my celebrations a little early)


Has anybody else ever decided to make their bud smoking brethren a gift to remember them by?

ive made my friend a wooden pipe before but it was quickly confiscated by his mom. sounds like a good idea. lets see some pics

yeah man im interested to see what you have done. how did you manage to make the hole for smoke to pass through and the bowl? just a drill bit?
