I was curious about this myself when I was looking at it. The stem comes up enough where most adults should be able to learn over enough to light it by themselves. But I had my bro light mine for me just because it's easier that way.

Thanks, and no I don't live in SD. Tech is doing god knows how many shows this spring he's all over the country but yeah he's sick as fuck for sure.

I was curious about that. Should the water just sit right above the highest perc? or should it be a little bit past?

The best way to get a perc set up in my opinion is to remove the downstem. Then just blow down the top of the tube and it will automatically aline with the diffusor holes. Blow slowly though you may want the level just a little above that. Don't forget to reset the water level in the base as well.

Back when I was using percd bongs I'd get the level just 1cm or so above the highest diffusor in the perc.
