Permament Hallucinations From Weed...

Alright first thing, this is not a BS story, this is all 100% true and it pretty much ruined weed for me...

So I started smoking weed when I was 11 years old, at first i was scared because it was really weird and I could like see my fingers moving thru my hoodie with my eyes closed(i can remember) and i would see slow motion occasionally...

So anyways, i was a stonner. Alls i did was smoke weed every day, all day. I spent more time in my basement more than ever(With a lil bit of help from tha member THCeeds

) Anyways, so about 6 months later(im 12 by now), I go to smoke with my brother in the woods, everything is going fine/normal, and then when we get in my basement my brother tells me to stay on the couch and he will be back.

So there I am, sitting on the couch watching tv, and i decide to throw some 3d glasses on cuz it makes shit FUCKED up...right away, i notice I am seeing stuff. I start to see the word 'seven' or 'steven', im not sure really. So i start to flip out because its like 'WTF!? this is weird, its never happend before' So then i start to see more shit, like someone breaking up weed and then zooming in on the weed taking up like all my vision, then eventually...a fucking lil green dude starts yelling at me scaring me shitless, so right away i start flipping out and by now my brother is downstairs so i start telling him whats going on AS it keeps happening, and he says its all in my head and the weed wasnt laced blah blah blah(no it wasnt laced because he smoked the same weed with me and he was fine)

So, now i already have a reason to quit weed because im afraid it will happen again, but the freaky thing is...while not high, i can STILL see seven/steven(ONLY when i would concentrate/think about it) So this really freaked me out because i wasnt even high or on any drugs and I would hallucinate, altho its minor, its still a very scary thing.

So i try to ignore it and just hope that if i smoke again it will be fine, well i smoke again, and once again the seven/steven pops up(non controlably, even when not thinking it comes up) So this happend EVERY time i got high, so i decided to quit. Eventually, i started back up again and i got the same result so i quit again(was about 4 months after i quit)

So now, today, after i've been clean for over 2 years...I want to start smoking weed again, but i can STILL hallucinate when I try to/think about it and stare at something like a wall/a still moving object or im in darkness.

My question is, WHY does my brain do this to me? And why wont it go away? Do I have a serious mental illness or is it all in my head?

PLEAAAASE ANSWER ME! I've been wanting to fix this for 4 years! I love weed when I dont hallucinate!

Edit: I forgot to add, I've done some research recently about hallucinating on weed, and I came accrossed something about having high lithium levels in my brain is the cause for hallucinations, but still, this does not explain the hallucinations on command.

maybe schizophrenia.. definitely talk to your doctor.. most doctors have to be confidential anyways [at least thats what its like in canada]

i think you should stop smoking until you figure out whats up. i dont know man maybe quit smoking all together. that is if you do have hppd. it kind of sounds like your saying it comes back whenever you smoke and stays in your vision even after kind of sounds like hppd.

Why should you be scared? You obviously know its the weed causing it.. Some people just react to weed differently. I dont think anything can help your problem. It is not in your control. If you like weed enough to keep smoking it, you will need to deal with the hallucinations.

Edit : After reading others replies, it seems it may be more serious than I suspected. Talk to your doctor and tell him you want what you said to be kept confidential.

ya could be schizophrenia but y are you afraid of the word 7 or some wavy walls ? so what its not like ur seeing giant purple dragons trying to steal your weed wit a black ski mask on breathing not fire but lava all over ure couch and when ou tell him to try to stop taking your weed he spits lava on you and you melt into the couch geez louise

Either laced stuff or some sort of condition. Definitely consult your doctor. Ask anyone who smoked the stuff with you if they had similar results. If not its some sort of condition and you should go to your doctor. Weed doesn't mix with a few conditions, so don't smoke until you find out whats up.

but he definately has some kind of mental illness probably the HPPD or something that caused the HPPD. But whats up with the word steven/seven and how can u not tell the difference? Thats fucked maybe ur just thinking too hard...

Umm...maybe because I don't like to see it? Its not like I start to stare at it dude...i dont like hallucinating, hence, i quit weed.

dude u dont have hppd from smoking a little a weed..
my personal guess is that it's all in your head and you psych yourself out and see what you want to.
