Ok, everyone here is saying "smoke then drink" or "drink then smoke". Don't listen to that. I recommend finding whichever you have a lower tolerance for, and do it first, since it will last longer and still continue into the effects of the other substance.

Lets say I've been smoking for a few months straight, but only drank occasionally. The alcohol will most likely have a stronger effect on me, and last longer than the weed. So I drink first. On the other hand, a binge drinker who can't score green often might want to smoke first... so it depends on you.

Everything in moderation my friend. That's the key. Have a couple beers and one bowl.
I remember playing poker with a couple girls (they were both fat but they're my stoner friends and they're pretty cool) and had one of those small bottles of tequila to myself. I chased it with bud light and when I got 3/4th done with the bottle, we went to smoke. My head was spinning like crazy and I just crashed.
On the other hand, I had four dark beers before hitting the club with my buddies. I want to say an hour after I drank the beers some random chick just came up to me so I got her to smoke with me outside. It was a pretty fucking good feeling. I felt awesome the whole night.
It felt like the perfect drunk when you're all loose and the celebral high when everything just feels good.

smoking first will just lessen the high you want to get after getting drunk. and plus if you knock out like 4-5 beers than smoke a bong or something youll be straight as hell and ready to drink more!

personally smoking and drinking is just kinda a daily thing for me and my friends. so its not really a question of what to do first. we usually smoke and drink at the same time. thats the way to go. get fucked up and try not to throw up

hangovers are caused by toxins released by your body to break down the ethanol. smoking bud isnt gonna prevent a hangover, but if you smoke while you're hung over, it'd prob get rid of that headache

I think it's a good combo although I rarely drink. What I dont like is if I ask someone if they want to smoke and they're like no I only smoke when I'm drunk/drinking. I feel like they're saying "no, weed is really bad but if I'm drunk enough I'll do anything." This may have gone off topic but..

it's good for me if i smoke and then only drink until i feel a buzz. if i'm high and sufficiently drunk, there's a good chance that i'll get the spins at some point, and then probably throw up. but if i only have around 5 beers, which does me pretty good, and i smoke, i'll probably be fine.
