Last week I took a trip to my local head shop. I had been looking for Juicy Jay's Sizzling Bacon papers for a while. I asked the guy at the register if they had any, expecting to hear the usual "What?!?! Bacon?!?! Hell no we don't have any. Ew!" or the like. Well to my surprise, he had a whole box of them. Turns out, I was the only person to ever want them. So I bought a pack.

I was excited to try them. To my disappointment, they don't taste like anything. Now I've had the Marshmallow Juicy Jay's before which were tasty, and I'm now enjoying a pack of Maple Syrup papers. But these bacon ones don't taste like anything. Have no smell either.

So my question is, has anyone else had these papers? How was the taste, if there even was one? My theory is that I just got an old pack because like I said, no one had ever asked for them before at the shop. I'd really like to try some fresh ones. Help me out GC! Should I try to buy more or what?

in my experiences you have to get juicy jay papers that have a very distinct taste...mainly fruity ones and the like if you want to taste anything and the ganja usually overpowers it after a couple hits.

cotton candy, bubblegum, kiwi strawberry, you can taste those because they all have a very distinct sweet taste, anything else just gets masked underneath the taste of weed.

The bacon kind was a huge letdown for me also, I was expecting some flavor, but instead I got a pepper-y taste that didnt do the name justice.
The maple syrup ones are one of my favorites though ( the canadian leaf ones ...mmm so good) Another kind thats pretty tastey is mellow mango

i heard the sizzling bacon papers tasted like hickory. i dont know what hickory is but apparently thats what they taste like

they were probaly old from sitting there.

i got a [pack of these once, and i could not taste them at all, maybe a little peppery like someone said, but my friends couldn't even tell the diff between them and normal papers.

Marshmallow Juicy Jays are by far the best papers you could ever smoke with. They taste so fucking good. Wow.

Raspberry or watermelon are delicious. But i usually just use zags.

If you're REALLY in the mood for some bacon-flavoured intoxicants, try some Bacon flavoured Vodka

I too was dissapointed to find that sizzling back had no taste. But try the candy cane
