smoking while sick?

just wondering if it is safe to smoke with a soar throat out of a glass bong, just kinda got a craving for some of this blueberry i just got

if you have like a serious sore throat like strep or something i would hold off because of infections, but with like a normal cold or sore throat i think you should be fine.

yeah dude just have water around and dont take huge hits. love to get high when Im sick cause then Im not just laying around bored the whole day and laughter is the best medicine

I've found that smoking "hot" (ie: joint, blunt, pipe) too much definitely makes me prone to throat infections way more. It took me a long time to figure out that's why I was getting sick all the time. Once I switched to a bong it cleared the problem right up.

So yeah, a couple bong hits won't hurt. Don't overdo it though.

i just got through bronchitus(Spelling) with a few antibiotics and daily bong rips.only took 4 days

i just had bronchitis too. i smoked everyday and got over it in a week.

i would suggest not man, smoking of anykind isnt good. i recently smoked my self super sick because i didnt heed my body's warnings and smoked right through all my symptoms

smoking is the best way to get through a cold, but i wouldnt recommend it on anything much more serious...

i regularly smoke when i have a cold to go to sleep or just to feel better
so i guess for the same reasons

smoking is not good when you're sick. It weakens your immune system even more and can make you sick longer as it makes it harder for your body to fight infection.

dooooo it man. nothing bad has ever happened for me, ive smoked through strep throat, migraines, stomach flu, cold/flu. i mean just cause you get sick you cant stop eatin your vegetables yea know? well in your case fruits (bluberry).

I just got over bronchitis and I smoked one day when I was coughing a lot and my lungs hurt. Needless to say, my lungs felt SO much better after I smoked and they didn't hurt that night. But I wouldn't do it too often.

I always smoke when I'm sick, I've found it makes sore throats less sore.

I smoked out of my pipe when I had a lung infection (I'm fine thanks) and blunts when I had a headcold that made my throat swell up and hurt for about a week. Smoking even a few hits helped.
