Unlacing weed?

A certain well-known dealer in my area has a reputation for selling bud (without informing the buyer) laced with all sorts of different shit, while always cutting sacks short to make up for the cost of the additive. I'm not down with that at all, but there wasn't anyone else selling today so my friends and I decided to just go for it; we had the extra money to spare in case we did get shorted.

Turns out the dub we bought was over half a gram short of the local average and tasted like fucking plastic and baby powder. Half an hour later my friends and I are tweaking our brains out and twitching like nobody's business. It was probably the worst high I've ever had. Ever.


I'm pretty sure it's coke that it's laced with, since that's what this dealer is usually putting into everybody's shit.

Is there a way to remove the additives from laced weed? We've got a few bowls left of it saved for tomorrow but if I can't find a way to take out the shit in it then I'm probably just gonna pass and go to the movies instead or something. Seriously, laced weed fucking blows.

Probably wasn't coke. If anything, it was meth. Smoking cocaine is very insufficient way of using it, and it's very expensive, so in turn.. your dealer would be losing money.

yeah if it's anything it's meth, but i'd say thats unlikely as well. theres no way to "unlace" it unless you know what it is and can find a way to extract the thc and not whatever it's cut with. I'd say theres more chance with him spraying it with something to add weight.

What does the weed look like? Why would you buy weed that smells like plastic and baby powder? Lesson learned?

I never said you didn't smoke meth. I was referring to the OP calling it "probably the worst high I've ever had."

It looked just like plain old middies. It was way more dense- and packed-looking than any ganj I've seen before, but I dunno if that's bad or not. It smelled alright; couldn't notice anything out of the ordinary there. Just half a shared bowl had me considerably ripped though, unless that was the spiked shit kicking in. The high was way different than anything I've had before. It was intensely psychedelic, almost like what I'd get after smoking a couple bowls when I'm shrooming.

I didn't know about that coke thing though, so thanks. I and others see that dealer with coke pretty frequently, so people are probably just assuming that's what it is since that's what's immediately available to said dealer. I know there's a meth hookup in this town so it could very well be that.

The exhaled smoke smelled pretty bad, too, like burning plastic almost. We couldn't hotbox that shit for more than a minute before we had to step outside for some fresh air.

what do people generally lace weed with anyways? what substance can you guys think of that would be possible to lace weed with? and how does one know it been laced? if it smells like weed and nothing visually odd, then its not laced right? i remember when i lived overseas my pipe would have sticky ass resin shit that was sort of gooey. i wonder if that shit was ever laced... what do you guys think?

Hey, man. Fortunately its pretty rare to see weed laced with cocaine cuz its just so fucking expensive (a gram of good coke can be worth a hundred bucks if its very pure. usually its much less than half and half and its more like 50 bucks or so.) ur guy would be losing crazy money if he was really doing that kind of stuff. my guess is that he's trying to add weight in some way. some people will sray their shit with windex or pine-sol to add some weight. the burning plastic taste would make sense with the windex, but i dont know about the smell of baby powder. maybe there's a chance that it realy is cocaine, and that hes trying to get people "addicted" to his weed... he sounds like a douchebag at any rate.

putting it in water is never a good idea, but you might want to give in a quick dunk and swish and get rid of the water. sometimes, when ur buds dry out for a while without getting heated or exposed to light to speed the process, they come back to normal after getting wet or soaked. of course its not going to be as good as trees that have never been dunked, but what is a man to do?

another suggestion is that he's putting them in percocets, or spraying them with water with percocets crushed up. this might give some peopel the impression of getting really stoned, and wold deffinately explain the taste and the smell.


IF i were you, i'd do somethinking and planning and rough him up some (a real cocaine dealer is never going to get the cops involved. its too much of a risk for him), but thats not a solution for everyone, and i can surely understand why.

i wouldnt ever get trees from him, even when ur desperate. i'd also try and get the word out, and maybe he'll lose the business.

realy? pine sol? windex? if we smoked shit laced with that, could we get some sort of damage somewhere? how can we tell if its laced? fuck that shit man. i gotta be careful
