Thumbs up Strategies: Finding A Dealer

I'm posting this, because somebody has recommended a sticky to finding dealers (a.k.a connects) because this topic starts at least 2 new threads everyday...so here it goes!

Here are some places to find a connect, and ways to go about it:

1. Public: Do not be blunt (pun intended) do not just ask people about weed! This can get you into a heap of trouble, and may scare away a potential connect quickly. Spark up a conversation with someone, and than casually ask about it. Slide it into the conversation! You can say things such as "wow, that (noun) looks dank as hell!" or other stoner slang terms. You can also say things such as "man, I could go for a smoke right about now" etc...

2. Parties: I personally have never been to party that didn't have grass. Find the person with the bud, and ask them how you can get some. Plain and simple.

3. Stereotype: Stereotype people!! If you see someone that looks like a stoner, most likely they are. Some wear tie dye, dreadlocks, flip flops (no matter the season), Stoner Band T-Shirts, and just that stoner type look. Others have red eyes, smell like smoke, and are lost.

4. School: No matter which school you go to, there is bound to be somebody that smokes the herb. Ask your friends if they know anybody that smokes as well, they most likely have heard of someone smoking, or know somebody that smokes. If you are having a hard time finding trees at school, your not looking hard enough.

5. Cig Smokers: There is always a group of people gathered around smoking. Not only is this a quick and easy way to meet friends, one is bound to know somebody that smokes other things. As I had previously stated, ease it into the conversation, and somebody will speak up.

6. Work: This must be done very carefully, and you must first gain friends and trust before asking such a thing. This is similar to the school situation, and public. Ease it into the conversation. Remember you must have a level of trust, because most corporations will terminate you on the spot for even mentioning that you have smoked, or will drug test that leads to termination.

7: Search Button: As I have said before, tons of people have started new threads about this exact topic. Use the search button to your advantage, keywords could include: dealer, connect, finding a dealer, etc...

Well, that covers about everything. I would have put 8. WeBeHigh.com, however that site has been down for quite sometime now, and I do not think it will return. Though it was a great resource.

I think that goes without saying and would definitely fit into the "stereotype" part

I agree, this needs to be stickied.

Good advice too. I've always gone through friends and friends of friends though.

Pretty good tips, hopefully this will be sticked to keep those repetitious threads away about this.
