nice picture guide. i pretty much use the same iso hash method, except i dont shake for 30 seconds. i've found shaking for less time like in 5 second intervals, approx. 5 -10 times over few minutes works best. it doesnt extract as much chlorophyll. i also see you picked up your large jar and iso alcohol from wally world. word.

The longer the ISO is in contact with the trimmings the more chlorophyll is extracted that's why its best to never go longer then a minute for your first wash. when I wash the second time I may leave it in the ISO a little longer but never over 2 minutes. But yeah I got the ISO from wally world but the jar is from Food 4 less.

Awesome guide Hashmouf! thanks. You broke it down and there is no way someone can do it wrong unless they don't follow your directions. I can't wait for your cold water method, that one sounds interesting. awesome post and I will definitely be using it with my next shake!

I have given the left over trimmings to my buddies brother, he smoked them and said he got a decent buzz so I guess they have a little value.

So the 91% absorbs less chlorophyll than 99%? Never heard of using 91% for that reason. I always use 99%. Nice guide by the way.

Curious, the higher the concentration of alcohol the better? I've got some 100% stuff in my tool closet. Would it be best to use it?

I'm curious if using different types of trimmings will have any ill effects? I'd imagine not, since they all contain the same ingredients. A few friends and I were thinking about saving up some stems and trimmings and throwing them together to make a big batch.

Yes the 99% is very astringent it removes higher amounts of chlorophyll, But I suppose that can be resolved with shorter exposure time.
