you smoke to actually feel it, not to want it to go away.
and if you didn't want it you wouldn't have been around them and inhaling the second hand smoke..

a buzz doesn't come and go. it's not possible for it to fluctuate like that since your body is breaking down the THC so it's only possible thing to do is go away.
