Yeah, theres 5 of us doing it.. Any we are just stayin in tonight just us 5.. This is gonna be the first time for me and one other person of the group of 5..

quite the opposite, you should have someone around that isn't doing them, espescially for your first time. someone you trust to help you out if the trip turns the wrong way

You should have somebody immediately available, but i have always found having a sober/not tripping fellow around created an awkward tension, adding some anxiety and stuff too.

A sitter is a needed part of the experience, at least for the first time. After that, if you think you can control your trip then you can forgo the sitter. I do agree with J-Pimp that it can send some awkward vibes having a not-tripper present, but at the same time, a sober sitter gives you an edge of clarity when it comes to the decision making of the night. Two people tripping on mushrooms can come to some stupid ideas, like walking 2 miles to the store in below freezing temp.
