That's funny because 90% of shrooms eaten are cubensis and they will grow just about anywhere in the wild. But you are right in saying that it is a misconception that mushrooms grow in cow shit. Mushrooms are grown in mycelium substrate.

Exactly. The only reason weed can be a gateway drug is because it's illegal, so once you have a dealer for bud you're likely to be exposed to other drugs. If you could buy weed at a convienience store than it would be no more of a gateway drug than alcohol. Actually, it would be less of one, since alcohol definitely effects your judgement more adversely.

Yes and no. If I had never smoked weed I probably would have never done anything else because I still didn't know what a "high" was. Weed didn't make me desire a better high I was just less scared to take certain risks with other drugs after finding out that being high wasn't some crazy, scary, or bad thing my parents made it out to be. All in all weed is not a gateway drug. I am not addicted and never will be addicted to any drug. Weed is just the lesser of the evils and a way of finding out what a high is. For those that do go on to other things, it is their own fault. That sense of excitement for a bigger and better high is just too much for some people to handle. That's when addicts and alcholics come around.
As for other stuff I have done: Extacy, coke, loritabs, xanax, addherral, ritolin, shrooms, meth, collonopen, 2cb, selmas, percusets, valiums, oxycotton, lean, ativan, and some other stuff for sure.
The only thing I do regularly: Weed
Don't try addictive things if you have an addictive personality. That's all I have to say.

yeah, i dont know why that always seems to cum up...even if all of em grow out of shit, cow shit is sterile and i wouldn't eat mushrooms without boiling and drying em first...but dont pass up the chance to try em cause of myths or ill-informed friends...join the shroomery or spend some time on erowid...both are pretty reliable and shroomery has a pretty large community of experienced hunters who are happy to do a personal identification for anyone

Ecstasy is great. When you're rolling hard and your hands are sweaty and you just want to do everything all at once, ah.. what a great feeling. I recently took an E pill, let my roll come on.. then once I started to roll a little harder, I snorted a half a pill.. man, after that was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. I smoked 4 grams of OG Kush while rolling. It was fantastic.

i started with weed, didn't smoke very often. then i started drinking semi-frequently, then stopped drinking and started smoking more. as many others have said, weed itself did not lead me to other drugs, but the people i hung out with did. i have done my fair share of benzos (klonopin, xanax) but knew when to stop. i also had a rough battle with painkillers. i started taking them on a daily basis, and realized that i needed to stop. withdrawals suck bad, but it's worth it to finally get over it. i have also tried salvia, shrooms, and lsd. i didn't have any great experiences on any of them, and quite frankly the salvia freaked me the hell out. marijuana is the one thing that will always stay true to itself, and i love it for that .

Of course it's a fucking gateway drug, no one is going to hop on the drug bandwagon by starting with hard drugs. You don't shoot up black tar heroin and say "Oh wow, that feels good. Now I wonder what weed is like."

For every person that smokes pot and then gets into hard drugs, there are a 1000 people who don't.

I choose weed because its like the only drug i can grow pretty easially where i live outdoors and smoke as much as i want for free all year? I have tried shrooms and liked them but not as much as weed. LSD is alright but shroomies were a lot better kind of trip. My fav drug is weed tho and dont plan on doing any other drugs even though its around me and so are the people using it.
