Smoking when on SSI

Iv been reading forums on here for a while and decided to sign u and start posting so as my first post i got a question for you guys. Ok maybe i smoke twice a week and i recently applied for SSI due to poor vision and i was declined the first time so i hired an appeals attorney to take over my case so i been clean every since in case they send me the DR for more medical tests for my migraines and such so my question to you is when i get approved for SSI should i be fine to smoke or should i be prepared for random drug screenings and medical exams that could turn up a positive result.

I know dudes on ssi. They arent going to random drug test you. Extremely unlikely they will drug test you ever .

My wife is on SSI and blazes ALL day EVERY day. I am trying to find out if it's possible to get medical mary while on SSI or if it will compromise her benifits. But as to the drug testing...never. It was never even mentioned as a possibility.
