How To Clean a Glass Pipe

We all enjoy smoking out of our glass pipes. from Bubblers, Inside Out Glass Pipes, or water pipes. Of course, after time these pipes of ours get dirty and must be cleaned. So you ask yourself, "How am I going to clean my Glass Pipe?" I will tell you how.

1.What you will Need

-Pipe Cleaners(wire with the fuzzy stuff)
-A cooking pot with a cover
-your glass pipe/pipes
-q tips
-dish washing soap
-tongs

2. How to clean the glass pipe.


- Put water in the pot.
- put your glass pipe into the pot before you heat the water so it won't crack from temperature change.
-put the pot with glass pipe in it on the stove and heat it with a medium flame
- Make sure the fan is on above the stove
- take the tongs and make sure that the glass pipe is filled with water inside and there are no air bubbles.
-boil the water and the glass pipe until all or most of the resin is gone.
-Turn off the flame and let the water and the glass pipe cool down for five or ten minutes

-----DON"T HEAT OR COOL THE GLASS TO FAST OR IT WILL CRACK-----

- Once the water and glass pipe are cooled down then dump the old water in the sink
-Fill up the pot with new lukewarm water and this time put some dish washing soap in it.
-now soak and scrub your pipe with qtips and pipe cleaners if there is any resin left.

Now you are done and have a brand new looking glass pipe.

Im a fan of alcohol and salt. Easier.

correct me if im wrong but cant you gather the resin that has floated to the surface, dry it and smoke it again? if so then u should prob take the resin out before the dishsoap gets put in haha...

x2. Unless you live alone, or with people who are chill about smoking, its not always easy to just go to your stove and boil your pipe clean. All you need for the iso alcohol and salt method is a bathroom sink. Plus its much faster.
