Stoned paper on shrooms i wrote. Thought id share :)
First off, i figured this would mean more to the mind altered by one's favorite drug, presumable marijuana, so i put it in recreational. Also, since this was written while under the influence of marijuana (but not only) it belongs in this sections. Thirdly, if it seriously is an inconvience to put this in Recreational, please notify me and i will be happy to delete and put into Pandora's or General. I enjoy this recreational most and im unfamiliar with the "regulars" in Pandora's. One may even say scared.
Second off, if you dont plan on reading the whole thing, you might as well click the back button because when i wrote this paper a while ago, it was intented that you read the whole thing. I feel as if it may really helps some of you new trippers and may inspire some experienced trippers. Its written using (mostly) correct English grammar and punctuation. I wrote as if i would submit it into a personal archive at one point of my life. I love writing rambles when extremely under the influences of drugs (of not to be mentioned).
Put some good thinking music on, get comfortable and read away. Hope it changes lives... only kidding.
THIS IS NOT COPIED, PLAGARIZED OR PARAPHRASED. ALL ORIGINAL SENTENCES AND IDEAS CONCIEVED IN MY MIND. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME, GOOGLE ANY SECTION AND GET BACK TO ME.

General discomfort comes from the anxiety of waiting for a shroom trip. First it’s excitement, then anxiety, then fear, then aggravation, and finally bliss. Nothing can compare to one’s first actual trip. Your mind becomes the ocean, and your thoughts the wind. This is true of all psiloholidays, but especially ones first. It’s a blunt knife to your mind, opening it up and absorbing everything rather than the things we perceive as real. As you become more experienced, that mental knife sharpens and becomes more of a controllable tool. You may control information intake, emotion stability, and overall comfort. Precision is a must when exploring the mind. One who fails to become experienced, may become overwhelmed inside the world of psilocybin induced Fantasia. You may pick parts of your brain that will strain your mental levee. Mushroom breakdowns are not a huge rarity, and more commonly known as “bad trips”. Labeling them as such leaves no desire to continue exploration. Bad trips are temporary unless you are not mentally capable of shutting off the thoughts that bother. Once the darkness of a mushroom breakdown, go through a frantic checklist of potential candidates.

1.) Location- Inanimate objects and indirect objects now give off energy. Darker colors tend to bring about sadness, bright; confusion, neutral; emptiness and so on. Using the correct lighting with a complimentary color scheme may be the fix you needed to proceed with your trip.
2.) People- People have an amazing power unknown to most. People can control emotions almost effortlessly. When in the midst of a mushroom trip, people’s expressions, moods and tone of voice give off serious vibes. Normally, one can brush off vibes easily, but once tripping, everything is under a microscope. Vibes are inescapable and you must give into their undertones.
3.) Mind Set- Is something bothering you? That may be the major factor in determining reason for a bad trip. The mind tends to settle and dissect memories regardless of impact on you. You may subconsciously bring up a horrible or sad memory. Your mind, from that moment on will look into it. If you notice this happening, try to watch something that will intrigue thought. Watch a nature film, listen to a favorite album or just get up and walk.

The unknown is the one root of fear in a human being. People do not like clowns for fear of not knowing what’s behind the mask. The dark due to its mystery and cloudiness of what’s in front of you. Taking mushrooms brings fear of change. Everything you know will become distorted, for good or for worse. The key is to mold each event in order to obtain the greatest results. You have overall power when tripping and must use it to your advantage ever chance you can. The one saying I have always said when it comes to tripping is:
<o ></o >
The canvas is white. Paint it.<o ></o >
<o ></o >
<o ></o >
Paint has the ability to be overlapped and to cover. If you inadvertently paint it off colors, give it time to dry and go over it. The color will be gone and a new to mask it. Don’t dwell on old paint. Go with what your painting or else you will be chipping away at old stale subjects. This can prevent the ripping of the canvas, which in turn, leads to a downward spiral of a venture.
Once experience is gained from lessons of tripping, you may be able to gain deeper understandings of subjects once seen at surface value. Like matter, everything has layers of meaning. A block of wood can be seen as oak, then atoms, then electrons, then quarks, and then string, etc. Each sub particle has a story: A life. It still makes up the greater of the whole, but helps the underlying purpose of making it a solid form of mass that takes up space in our universe. An idea works on the same principle. You must dive deeper and deeper, thoroughly exploring each subcategory in order to truly understand. We, as normal human beings, are narrow minded in thought. We strive to gain general understanding, and are content with that. But there is always something deeper, something stronger. Fundamentals, I find, are more apparent when ones under the influence of a psychedelic, especially psilocybin and LSD. Some fundamentals can bring fear or unrest in some, such as the fundamentals of politics or big businesses, but one must except the fact its unchangeable and to not get too upset over trivial subjects of injustice. This isn’t saying you cannot change it ultimately, but while tripping, unless you can act immediately, these thoughts may lead to anxiety to act, which again, in turn can trigger a bad trip.

Perception is an illusion. There is basically nothing to deny that this statement is true. A dog knows the world as shades of one color. We know it in multiple shades of multiple colors. But there is a beyond. There are colors and objects our eyes cannot see. I cannot even fathom the thought that we are standing in front of a world that isn’t even completely seen yet. But, when tripping, some of us can think and mental picture things that a normal being cannot. It seems that one can pick up thoughts easier when tripping on psilocybin than when baseline. Although this sounds like a crackpot theory, anyone with substantial or average tripping expertise can vouch for that claim. Thoughts are constantly floating out there for us to intercept, but the average human frequency of neuron firing and rate of fire apparently are not strong enough to be intercepted or our normal brain function just isn’t capable of such a feat. So, never take what we see as what it will always be. There is always more to what you are seeing. Same idea applies to thoughts.

Lastly, enjoy. Times like these are the times when we are having the most fun. Detach yourself from the cliché lifestyle and enjoy your trip. It’s a vacation from blatant reality. It’s meant to enhance your views and thoughts, not hinder or destroy. Keep in mind that these drug induced may not be acceptable to everyone and your actions may not be socially accepted in some situations, so contact with the outside non-friendly environment may create a tidal wave of emotion as one observer bluntly dismisses a thought of yours as crazy. Be with emotional close friends. People who will understand your thoughts and can listen well. They must be patient, caring and someone you feel comfortable around. Don’t plan on anything that requires actions to be made that are out of your control, such as driving through a mountain range or seeing someone that may or may not come. Ride the wave and try not to get caught in the riptide. If so, swim slowly and calmly to shore, where you may collect yourself and venture out again. Eat foods that agree with your stomach and digest relatively health, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Eat lightly on meats or gassy foods. Have alternate activities set up prior to tripping, in order to relieve bad thoughts, boredom, anxiety, etc. Make a play list or have an Ipod ready and all set with more than enough songs to play throughout the trip and ensure device’s electrical life is full/plugged in. You never want to experience a music shortage in the middle of an intense journey.
<o ></o >
Relax. Play some music, eat some food or talk with friends after ingesting. Eat with something that may cause you to forget you even took shrooms until it hits you. The unpleasant taste of dry (fresh tastes delicious) shrooms can cause nausea or stomach discomfort before and during the trip. You want to avoid any bodily discomfort, for this may take away from the experience as a whole. Cook them into a pasta, put them on a pizza, or make into your favorite tea (honey works well covering up the taste. I like plain shroom tea with copious amounts of honey and a little lemon)

I hope I have helped any future or new psilonauts and hope maybe a brought light to a subject not yet illuminated. Perhaps you just enjoyed the read. Best of luck in all of your future endeavors in the world of alter chemical induced realities and may the vibes be with you.
