Tutorial: Easy way to locate head shops

This has worked for me, too many of you this will be obvious, but some people just don't know. If this didn't help you please don't insult me, because i'm sure it'll help atleast 1 person.

1) Go to yellowpages.com
2) Fill the "find" section with "Cigar, Cigarette & Tobacco Dealers" (No "S)
3) Enter your zip code in "location"
4) Sort by distance

Now you should have a number of head shops to check out. Some of them might just be smoke shops, some of them are head shops recognizable by name. You could give a few shops a call and see what they offer before driving / walking.

Good advice, never thought of that. I knew where they were in NY so it wasn't an issue, but it's good to know.

Good advice, but probably better for smaller areas. We have a shit-ton of cigar stores here that would clog up the results ... generally the big-name stores everybody already knows about. NC-17, Inserection, Galaxy Trading / Starship Enterprises, etc.

In any case, it's still good advice. +rep

Yea it worked well for me because there arent many places around. The one thing is this wont find all of those hidden gas stations / head shops. When trying to find a head shop theres isnt much more than word of mouth, and when i discovered i could search like this a few new places popped up. If you just try to google you'll find nothing or places too far out of reach.
