I use ice in my bong so I don't have to stop smoking from having a sore throat. I have heard rumors that something about smoking through ice is bad for your lungs. Is this true?

hey, i know someone who claims to have gotten bronchitus from filling his bong to the way way top with ice so it was super close to his mouth you know. If it wasnt bronchitus, it was something other to do with his lungs.

Do i believe it? I do and i dont but i dont feel my bong to the top with ice cause of hearing that.

How would this be different from having ice to your mouth smoking out of a bong?

ice isnt bad but it makes the smoke smoother, making you take bigger and bigger hits.. maybe thats what causing your "cough"

Filling your bong to the top with ice can cause THC to recrystallize in your lungs and that is what is bad for you. Just don't fill your bong to the top with ice and you'll be fine.

Too much ice and you can get brainfreeze which will make you drop your bowl,scaring the cat,exciting the dog,and cause you to go into an epileptic fit if rage.As your final breaths leave your bodie you think."Damn , I knew I shouldnt have used ice.......is that a THC worm with some guy screwing it?"

dude, i gotta see some evidence behind this claim. There's no freakin way it's true. It doesn't even SOUND like it could be remotely true. I could be totally wrong here, but I'd wager I'm not.

Ice is NOT bad for your lungs, it doesn't matter how cold (nature cold ) it is, by the time the air hits your lungs it's body temperature.

Holy shit people are fucking dumb. Bronchitis is a BACTERIAL INFECTION. Do you think that putting ice in a bong to cool down smoke (which btw is actually really good for your lungs) is going to make your lungs infected with bacteria???????
